just wondering, if you were ever thinking about porting it to C++, or anything?
just wondering, if you were ever thinking about porting it to C++, or anything?
do you mean porting it so its coded in c++ or to use c++
Good news- I've got the thread re-stickied, reupped work, and began to prepare it for non-beta, there's still a lot of coding to be done, but I can show you a nice screenshot of the "apres-installed" folder:
http://www.pspro.co.uk/ldkinstalled.PNG
and the splash screen:

tho I have slightly changed the splash screen
working on the .chm as we speak!

PS. If anyone knows of any free and simple installer creators i'll be helpful
(not NSIS)

Never mind abt that, I found a freeware one
Wow ! It looks awesome ! :)
You'll want to see the app, finishing the .chm, making it be loaded from the help menu, checking for bugs, then releasing another public version.
The installer is cool too

Right, if you look at the site you'll see a pattern between all of the other releases, when the target for this on is achieved, I'll release it ASAP
this is gonna sound dumb but how do you instal the beta or can you?
the version that's out at the moment you cannot.
But when the site reaches 5000 views the version that has an installer and a splash screen etc... will be released
oh gotcha
cool.
in surprised- 5 days and no posts
i cant get it to run on a mac
what happens
nothing, it opens up java, but the screen is blank
i mean it says its running in the menu bar, but nothing shows up on screen
hmm, nothing at all?
cant wait to try it out i am slowly starting to programm in lua and this will certainly help
yeah.
If you read my tuts you'll see the secret link to the beta
Back on topic... I heard something about binding C++ commands to LUA. Is this going to be one of the features in a future build of LUADevKit ?
when is the next version of devkit suppose to be released
Completely unsure at the moment, it depends entirely on the result of this:

poll
Wow, getting very close to 5000 page views :)
Well, I hope to make a lot of progress on tuesday, then possibly a release by saturday- if that's the case, you guys are lucky, if not, you won't have it for at least three weeks after that because I'm away to South africa for three weks
Had a chance to try this out recently. Very cool app! Thanks.
id use it Glynnder but it takes too long to load on my computer
like 15 - 20 mins
unless you's know why ill be using... LuaEdit.
i agree. On m comp it takes about three minutes which is a very long time to wait considering my computer isnt a banger.
Yes, my computer also loads it slowly. Probably 1-2 minutes, and this is a fairly decent computer (Vista running on it)
tis that mean you can run the PSP Dev Environment on Vista?Zitat:

Welcome back to the LuaDevKit official thread.
Now coding on it had began to really happen, I am reopening the thread.
Please visit PSPro for many updates on it, however I will post all major ones here too.
Check the front page of the thread!

Finally- I now know why it takes so long to load.
The project explorer loads all your files into it, and this is very time consuming if you have a helluva lot of files in you my documents etc....
It's never bin much of a problem for me because I always had nothing there (external HDD). I am solving the problem by making the program load, then you load the tree with your files at the click of a button, this is obviously just a temporary solution as the projects explorer is being fully redone, but it's a good one for the while!
Good luck! Hope you make a good environment for the scripters of the community.
Cheers,
I've made it so you have to click a button after the program has loaded if you want to laod the project explorer, it runs as its own separate process so it doesn't cause the program to freeze at all, it just displays itself as soon as it's ready!
I would love to beta test again! :)
Good luck!
Don't worry, you're still on there!
Ok, I signed up at your site and i sent you a PM.
Cheers.
