Default Nanodesktop: we are looking for developers

We are looking for developers for Nanodesktop project.

We want to work on the following features:

- USB Driver for webcam;
- IRDA support;
- Hardware acceleration;
- VFPU Acceleration for ndOpenCV.
- HAL for Linux, Nintendo DS, Nokia Engage.

Nanodesktop is an open-source project developed in University of
Messina. It is an open-source library for programming windows applications on embedded platform.

If a large number of developers will work on Nanodesktop Project,
it will became possible to create complex windows applications that
run on every platform.

Nanodesktop official website at:

http://visilab.unime.it/~filippo/Nan...p_PSP_PSPE.htm

If you want to contribute with code, documentation and other, you
can write me to pegasus2000@email.it.

Thanks.

Filippo Battaglia

Read the site before you comment. It's a PSP emulator for Windows. It allows you to create PSP apps and test them on Windows which is so much easier than using a PSP.

It isn't that either.

It is a windows manager library. Like Gnome, Black Box, KDE etc.

It isn't a PSP emulator. You test it on Windows using PSPE.

In reality, it is very more complex, and in final release it will became more
similar to a new operating system than to a windows manager.

It is able to create applications for PSPE or for real PSP.

But it is projected to be very portable, so it can support all platforms.

So, you can create your application, and the same code will work on
PSPE, PSP, Linux, Nintendo DS, NGage etc. etc.

We need only to create the HALs (Hardware Abstract Layer) for each of
these platforms: the routines at upper layers will adapt automatically.

It will be able to export source code....

for example, we provide ndOpenCV and ndDevIL.

They have been projected to run in x86 platform, but they work under
PSPE/PSP. Without Nanodesktop this would be impossible.

Sorry for missed answer.

You can install Nanodesktop using manual. You can find a copy in our
site:

http://visilab.unime.it/~filippo/Nan...p_PSP_PSPE.htm

or in Nanodesktop distribution:

PSP/SDK/Nanodesktop/nd manuals

Oh, alright, thanks! I must have missed that manual. My appologies!

Another problem. I have set this all up, and when I try and compile the hello world example, I get an error concerning the main.o file. Any ideas?

Use imageshack for the image.
