Hi
How can I edit elf(the decryptet prx Files) files from the Sony FW? And what for a programming language is it? Is there every where a prx decrypter for 2.71 PRx's or higher for 1.5 or 2.71SE-C And how can i compile a elf file to a prx? I searched but I find nothing. Thanks rmb |

Here's a good ELF editor: http://elfyourself.com/
Slightly more serious answers: - Grab the PSARDumper tool from http://www.noobz.eu/, it can decrypt all known firmwares (although there are problems with the new 3.03, apparently). - You'll need a good MIPS disassembler to be able to disassemble the decrypted files into the MIPS Allegrex assembly language. Plus you'll want a good working knowledge of MIPS to understand it. - To edit PRXs, you'll need a VERY good knowledge of MIPS asm, and a good hex editor. But you'd have the problem of re-encrypting them for that to be useful, and no-one but Sony is able to do that. - I believe PRXTool can convert ELF->PRX, but it sounds like you don't know enough for that to actually be useful to you.
