Jak's Jezzball Neon Edition

::Changes::

Hello My name is neoxbox (but I go by .traction), anyway I just wanted to release my first lua learning project. I was learning off of Jek's Jezzball, yeah i know what your thinking, "He just changed the colors of the .png's" well it was alot more complicated than that. I had to code 5 lines (very easy, im a noob to this as of today

) to get the colors I wanted. But anywho, I call this the "Neon Edition", because of the brightly lit colors I added, Some reasons reason why I chose the colors, being that i love raves, and the rave scene colors, lightshows and all that jazz....

-Edited the bg.png
-edited the balls to be "rave neon" like
-Added some code:
-New text colors
-Changed the Area selection color to "rave neon" colors.
-Added my name (duh im modding it with it)

..:Todo:..
-Learn how to make .gifs actually work, causing the flash "seizure" effect. (timer ?)
-Make more animated effects
-Have a background laser effect like at a rave (ahhh)
-Sfx and music...

And remember, I am a noob at this whole lua thing, and programming in general. So dont expect super quality in this mod. Im still learning, so the next release should be more advanced.

Yes but this noob started 10 - 20 minutes ago. And im still implementing.... Maybe in the next 2 hours we will have a more complex mod

Thanks. As for the rest of you, jeez, I never intended a childish flame war so I wont feed the fire, in one ear, and out the other.

BTW, is there a PSPdev environment? Not that im too lazy to load up the incredibly slow micro$oft development suite, I was just curious.. Im just trying to learn alot of crap right now at the same time, if it were as easy as VB or C++ in that envoirnment, then I could code up a storm of great PSP stuff...

For LUA, You can use the windows lua player, Thats about all in know so far, But if yuou dont want to get dlmaed, Release a real MOD or even a game/app

Dont worry, I may be rusty on my forums skills, but i have been around this scene since psphacker.com. I know what has gone on, I just took a nice long break from technology, after what happened to me with BirOS I needed to take a break for awhile, i needed to live life a little more, but im back now. And im more than happy to learn how to code with the PSP, I already know xbox from insides out, look at how many I have fragged trying to do various mods, 12. And I still have all of them, and the PSP's I fragged. Sooner or later, when im flash hacking, ill have a wall of fragged PSP's..

Close this thread. I feel bad now that I have released a ****ty program, ill work harder now that I see how this scene has become.

More than that... There are multiple error codes... DVD Drive not connected, eeprom is missing, HDD is cannot be unlocked / is already unlocked, delete MS dash, Motherboard problems, and worst of all is the error 21 screen which means its an unknown error so your left without a clue...

Exactly, Most of them are Bad HDD's, and i cant retrieve the eeprom from them, so thats the deal. The mobo's are still good, 2 of them were actual attempts to make a dream box, Proc upgrade and ram upgrade like friendtech did...

Softmods are crap. I dont like them. I have one softmodded and personally the chipped one has more capability.
