Lightbulb [RELEASE] PixerFixer By crait

Hey guys, I decided to create a program that randomly prints thick lines to your psp screen. The program is used to unstick stuck pixels from your screen without the need of downloading a 30 megabyte video that does the same exact thing.
This way, people can actually fit it on thier memory card. Especially for those who only have a 32 megabyte card. The Eboot file is about 150kb.
This works on 1.0 and 2.00+ psp's. It will also work on a 1.5 psp if you have custom firmware installed.

Download HERE

Instructions:
Go to your game icon and press X.
Find the icon with the title "PixerFixer By crait" and once again press X.
let the process run for about one minute to two minutes, changing the brightness setting of your psp screen every 2 - 4 seconds.

I personally cleaned up 20 tented pixels with this off my psp that my brother stepped on.
Heres what others have said about this app.

Nice! Welcome to QJ! Good release. No offense to anyone, but pixel fixers never work for me....

Does this basically work like other pixel fixers but is just a smaller size? I'm not sure if I have dead or stuck pixels. I'll download it and try it out.

Uhh, the author of this thread is very mistaken as you dont have to have a video to unstick pixels and there are plenty of these out there.. Hell, I made a TIFF Pixel Unsticker and it was 40 kb back when I was developing for TIFF...

Thanks, crait. I'll give it a try later.

I've had what appears to be a stuck pixel on my PSP for ages (since I got it at launch) but have never
tried one of these programs. It's pretty close to the bottom of the screen, so it's not too noticeable,
but it'd be great if this fixed it.

I only have 1 white dead pixel, it doesn't bother me that much, but i really like that nice warm feeling of perfection, maybe i'll give it a try, but i'll wait for some more feedback.

Sometimes dead pixels can be colored too.
So make sure you dont get confused because sometimes its really hard to tell.

crait - Incorrect. Dead pixels have 3 sub-pixels who are permanently off producing a permanently black pixel. This can happen from manufacturing anomalies or a non-working transistor resulting in a complete lack of power to the pixel...

A stuck pixel results from a manufacturing defect which leaves one or more of these sub-pixels permanently turned on.

or when stimulated incorrectly by givin the wrong charge by the system. Use of different batteries besides Lithium Ion can do this. Also mixing lithium batteries with alkalie batteries can create this stimulation.
Sometimes, a pixel can be squished on accident by someone stepping on your psp.
this will rearrange the pixel's interrior, and when givin a special charge, for instance to turn red, it will turn green instead because the charge is sent to the wrong part of the pixel because of the pixel rearrangement.

Manufacturing was pretty general, I should have said physically tampered with

But still, that isnt a dead pixel, rather a mixed up transistor that needs some help... But that woudl be cool though Manually flip the screen via hardware issue...

lol
dead pixels are not called dead pixels because they cannot hold a charge or turn on
they are called dead because they ciese to change, to live
and cannot be fixed
hincing the word 'dead'
stuck pixels just need help
