So here is my first one:

PSPIconIt 1.01

it's a little program to help those newbies out there to give your PSP's Memstick an icon and a label so your PSP can identify itself against Windows.

Just pick one of the included icons and give your PSP a name...

16 Icons are already included and I'm eager to add more and V2 will also feature a professional mode for those who want to add their own icons.

Of course I'm open for your suggestions...

P.S.: It will of course also work on standart HDDs and USB-Drives

ok one problem, i wanted to change it to another one but it stayed the same, how do i change it to another?

Seems the autorun.inf isn't deleted correctly... will make a small fix for this... till that, just delete the File from your USB-Stick and rerun PSPIconIt, then it'll work.

umm ive all ready created this.....and it stays the same because its in your comps ram(i think) but anyways if you want it to change, leave the auto run and icon you want to change it to and in a cople of days to a few weeks it will change.

This shouldn't apply for WinXP... Icon and Autorun.inf should be refreshed every mediachange - regardless if USB-Cardreader (PSP) or CD-Rom... so unplugging and replugging should fix it... if not restart your maschine

EDIT: New Rev is online... everyone should update

EDIT2: Could be that some Program like NERO changed the behaviour of the autorun function...
check the Reg-Keys HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWAR E\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explor er\NoDriveTypeAutoRun (shouldn't exist) and in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System \CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Cdrom the value Autorun must be set to 1

i've got a problem my pc just doesn't display the icon instead it displays the icon not found - icon

I see you got a few of these icons from deviant art. They have alot more though. They even have ones for the mucic folder.

Edit: it isn't changing for me either. I still think its best to do it manually.

okie... I will probably work on some errorreports or logs and let the app check if Autorun and the other relevant registryvalues are set correctly... Guess it means a V1.5 before going onto new features and V2.0... Adding a manual mode will be easy, so count this one in for 1.5.

Let's work on getting this baby working for everyone...

i thought it was a program to change the icons in the XMB when i downloaded it. i still love it though no more removable storage device for me!
