@weltall:
After having placed the plugin tin game150.txt and enabling it in the recovery menu I'm able to use it on homebrew that's been launched with 3.52 m33.
did you use cwcheat-irshell.prx or cwcheat.prx?Zitat:
Zitat von YFRONTZ
I enabled cwcheat-irshell.prx. I tried putting it in game.txt and game150.txt ...though in game150.txt it doesn't show up in recovery mode.
I'm running firmware 3.40 OE-A is it M33 only?
game150 is m33 only.
i have no way to test on 3.40OE.
well i've just upgraded to m33 3.52 - placed it in the game150.txt and enabled. everything seems fine but when i play a game and hold down the select key nothing happens...
By game do you mean a UMD (or similar) or homebrew? game150.txt will only launch the plugin when it is booting something with 1.50 -- homebrew. If you want to use it with official games when you need to use game.txt to install the plugin.
Dose anyone know were to get NitePR codes and CWCheat codes? I've been looking for awhile and have had no luck finding any.
does that means this irshell of cwcheat is for using cheats with homebrews only, not with UMDs?
I tried starting up the cwcheat-irshell.prx in game.txt but it just crashed after a second.
@AlecoJohnson:
You can get the latest database from the CWCheat homepage.
Thanks do you know were to get NitePR codes?

Whats the difference between cwcheat-irshell.prx and cwcheat.prx?
you are offtopic.Zitat:
Zitat von AlecoJohnson
cwcheat-irshell.prx starts in homebrew mode and then can be changed in game mode with a combination of keys inside cwcheat menu when you load the game
you must put it in game.txt game150 is for 1.50 homebrew and irshell is an 3.x homebrewZitat:
Zitat von YFRONTZ
no it's for homebrew and games you just have to press SELECT+L when you are in game in the cwcheat menu.Zitat:
Zitat von YFRONTZ
1) use the default skin
2) avoid using the autoboot plugin
3) you may try removing the db or making it lighter (irshell uses too much memory sometimes)

Hello cheaters, anyone still don't get cwcheat0.19rev_a to work with irshell 3.6/3.61 should try this out :
- put your *individual cheat.db file to seplugins\cwcheat folder on memstick
- put cwcheat-IRSHELL.prx from LITE folder to seplugins folder on memstick
- edit textfile game with ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat-IRSHELL.prx and put it to the same folder
- reboot psp by holding down right trigger
- enable the plugin (to be sure it IS enabled click on it although it is shown as enabled)
- u might disable irsfw30x.prx and start irshell manually if u experience psp freeze
- after the game is loaded press and hold SELECT button to open cwcheat menu
- in the menu set "Reload Cheat Database" to 0 (default) till 255,
depends which game u use, then press x, now go select cheat
* edit the cheat file with a editor (i use cwcheat database editor), rename the game id always to HOMEBREW, save as cheat, cheat1, cheat2, ..., cheat255 for each game.
i try to make a filelist (1=gamea, 2=gameb...), copy it to memstick, so i can check it via irshell, then i would know what number belongs to which game
avoid nethost mode for cheat purpose
maybe it is pedestrian, but i can't to get it to work else with cwcheahblite.prx, cwcheatlite.prx
strange, without editing the cheat files cwcheat does not recognize the game, instead i can choose psp tetris 2.8, tiff pong, ... !
I've just noticed a strange problem. I'm not sure if it is a bug with CWCheat or 3.52 M33 but when running POPS games the ID of the last game is what shows up instead of the current game you are running. Wouldn't be surprised if it was M33's firmware doing it because I've never had this problem when running OE. Is this happening to anyone else?
i use m33-2 and cwcheatpopslite works correct without to edit
thank you, i finally got it to work, i didn't really full understand at first.Zitat:
Zitat von weltall
when your using cwcheat in irshell you can no longer mute sound and play
mp3 which i though was strange, guess thats gonna take up a lot of memory though!
CWCheat is an awesome app and it works really well with most of my games. I do have a problem with one. When I enable cheats on GTA:LCS, the game freezes up completely. Any way that I can fix this? I'm on 3.52M33 and I'm using the first GTA:LCS UMD(the one with the exploit and the 2.00 update).
CWCheat is a great tool for most games but when it comes to the GTA games you should really check out the CheatDevice tools. They are made specifically for GTA and can do some amazing things with the game.
Note: CheatDevice works best in Devhook.Zitat:
Zitat von cracker
It only works in Devhook.
3.03OE-C was the last firmware it worked on.
Hi, I just upgraded to 3.52M33(update2), and cwcheat doesn't seem to work anymore. I've followed the instructions from the readme, and even deleted my seplugins folder and copied the seplugins fodler from the download and it still doesn't load in-game when i press Select (and yes, I have checked in Recovery and cwcheat.prx is enabled...and is the only plugin in I have installed)
anyone have suggesstions?
cwcheat worked like a charm for me under 3.40OE, keep up the good work!
Thanks,
Did you get the latest version from the site? The version that worked in 3.40 doesn't work in 3.52.Zitat:
Zitat von msc
Yeah, I got 0.19revA off QJZitat:

How long are you holding the select button for? It can take up to ten seconds for the menu to pop up.
I've been holding it down for more than 10seconds (well...4 when i was using 3.40oe)Zitat:

Here it is a new version of cwcheat: 0.1.9 REVB
This version discontinues the homebrew prx which is now useless as the proper modality of startup is automatically recognised and the prx starts in homebrew
mode for VSH, 1.50/3.x Homebrews and official demos.
You may still press R during reboot to force homebrew mode and L to force cwcheat to exit immediately.
Other fixes are regard the db loading function with irshell which didn't seem to like the space of 128kb
alloched for them so now it's build alloches kb which worked fine with 3.61.
Last two thing were an additional check for usermode threads which should fix games like "ghoul and gobling" and brave story (altough this always worked fine for me), and the switch to gcc 4.1.0
Enjoy :)
DOWNLOAD
Code:0.1.9 REV.B RELEASE
=====================
- [DB DOWNLOADER] Updated the db download to work with the new server
- [GAME] added another check in the thread suspension runtimes to increase compatability with games in some cases
(should fix ghoul and globin and brave story for those with that problem, altough it always worked fine for me)
- [IRSHELL] reduced the space alloched to db loading function to half (64KB). This will slow down db loading but should
improve compatibility with irshell.
- [GAME] The game prx can be now used either in 1.5x 3.x homebrews, games and 3.x vsh without problems. it will
automatically select if it has to start in homebrew or game mode. You can still force homebrew mode by using
R during bootup or disable completely cwcheat by using L during bootup.
The only difference in the homebrew prx now is the different config file. If no one really needs it i'm going
to remove the homebrew build with the different config file in the next release.
- [ALL] fixed a little glitch in the goto function about the y position in the memory editor.
- [ALL] built with gcc 4.1.0
and msc do a scandisk/ f s c k it seems a lot of peoples gets corruption when putting new files in the ms
Cool, thanks for the update
Thanks for the update, man!
I hope you do know that once you upgrade to 3.52 M33, all plugins are disabled. Go into your recovery menu and make sure your plugins are enabled.Zitat:
Zitat von msc
Grab the newest build of cwcheat while you are at it.
Also, just like previous people have said, it may take a few seconds (5- 10) for it to load up by holding select.
Hope this helps you  !
P.S. If all else fails try deleting all the old cwcheat on your psp (folders and all pertaining to cwcheat in seplugins folder) and place the new one back on your psp.
All in all, If you are still having problems, please check out this thread to make sure you installled it properly:

Thanks Bob Hoil
Use this
Thanks i want to try and change how fast my character can move and swim..... i guess i will have to figure it out lol
this new release works great for me, but i noticed that my psp freezes when i exit game via irshell quick exit function

Is _anyone_ able to search for a difference with cwcheat.prx? cwcheathb.prx works no problem when it comes to searching for a difference so I thought that the long-running problem of not being able to search for a difference was solved but upon trying to use it today (for the first time since countless updates) with cwcheat.prx it still doesn't work. After the initial memory dump all it will do when I tell it to continue the search for the difference and selecting which method to narrow the results is rapidly show some text on the screen before going back to the difference type to search for menu (I'm not sure what it says since it goes away very fast). I'm hoping there is a solution for this. :/
it's quite strange that the hb prx works and the normal one doesn't as they are pratically the same now except one loads a different configuration. so maybe a good try would be removing the cwcheat.ini fileZitat:
Zitat von cracker
@weltall:
I found out that the problem was another plugin conflicting with CWCheat. It didn't happen when running homebrew because cwcheathb.prx was the only plugin I was using with 1.50. Still is very strange how it only seemed to affect searching for differences and nothing else. It's all good now. :D
Are there any plans on implementing deleting of codes from the codes list? When you are testing out possible codes it makes a mess of the list and it's kind of tedious to have to clear them out with an external program. Also -- along that same line -- would it be possible to add the ability to edit the cheat description?
Deletion for codes from the CWCheat menu is a nice feature and I would like to have it.
