[RELEASE] CWCHEAT for POPS and PSP GAMES

Ive tried all the versions of this app so far and I cant seem to get them to work on my 3.52 M33-4.

I had it working when I had 3.40 oe-a but ever since I upgraded I can get it to work.

Anyone know what can b wrong?

Im trying to use CWCheat for my PSX games BTW.

Totally wipe the seplugins folder and remake it then copy:
/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx
/seplugins/pops.txt
/seplugins/cwcheat/cheatpops.db
/seplugins/cwcheat/cwcheatpops.ini

Then enter the recovery menu and make sure the plugin is enabled and it should work.

0.1.9 R. F memcard support doesnt seem to be working with 3.71 M33-2 with the 1.50 (2) addon? or am i doing something wrong?

i don't have that game so i can't try. but it's quite improbable it's cwcheat as i don't touch the memory card area if not asked explictly and i don't hook anything in that area

hmm tryed on two different fat psp`s 3.71 m33-2 with installed 1.50 v2 .

Select dosn`t open the menu. Everything is enabeld as it should.

Here it is a new version of cwcheat: 0.1.9 REV.G
This release is mainly focused to some updates in the cheat engine for upcoming codes with the addition of a new code type: inverse jockers. It works like the normal jocker code but it's condition is inverted (no button pressed of the specified ones == don't skip lines). Plus there were some fixes on 32bit increment/decrement codes and optimizations in particular in the bitwise codes.
As for the other things the text reader loads the text file in the kernel ram if the screenshoot function is in compatibility mode (default) and an undo function while searching for cheats (check changelog)

- [GAME] Added a new code type: inverse jocker code. It works just like the jocker code but it skips specified lines if the specified buttons are
         pressed. 0xDnnnnnnn 0x2vvvvvvv n = number of lines skipped (n= 0 => 1) v = keymask
- [GAME] Corrected a little glitch in the 32 bit increment/decrement codes which could lead to them not being recognised by the engine. 
- [GAME] various optimizations on bitwise operators codes
- [ALL] now the text reader allocates it's buffer on the kernel ram if the screenshoot compatibility mode is enabled (default).
        For now this reduces the file size loadable when screenshoot compatibility mode is enabled.
        This is the first steep for the text reader file reading management rewrite to let a teorically indefinite file size while keeping the buffers
        as little as possible.
- [IRSHELL] in irshell builds Game name is cleaned when going in game mode, so if the game is missing in the db it won't be shown as "HOMEBREW"
- [ALL] Added a preliminar undo function in the cheat searcher. Press L while pressing X to enter the continue search to enable this.
- [PACKAGE] Separated the readme file in two files: one exclusively in english and one exclusively in italian

Hey welltall , The cheats for Monster Hunter Freedom are really hard to use because most of them don't have correct names. If I upload an edited cheats.db would you want it?

Cwcheat-IRSHELL.prx still crashes my irshell 3.71 =/

i've tried even with usbhostfs still working fine maybe you did something bad with your irshell. i've just loaded it on the ms as is and went to the ms icon to load isos that's all and it works fine.

I know you can't fix compatibility with every game but is it possible you could see if you could find out why cwcheat won't work with Crash of the Titans? I know you're a busy guy so it's fine if you don't have the time.

i've analized this problem this afternoon (gmt+1) and cwcheat is actually loading and working fine, the only problem is that game uses too many psp resources and as cwcheat has a low priority it never gets a chance to do it's main loop.
if you for example keep pressed select or set the menu open with wlanup which is less annoying, you will see that sometimes the menu will come up fine.
to fix this i've tried putting the priority to 0x32 (in place of the 0x64, the game seems to run at 0x63 priority, at least the main thread). This made cwcheat work normally but i don't know if it could have any performance issues. i will put on the site a package with just the 3.6- 3.7+ irshell/game/lite prxes with this change but it won't be a real release

anyway here it is:

ahh Weltall, more problems.
Was making some codes for Final Fantasy Tactics US and all was good.
Did 2 memory dumps.
And now for some reason memory dump doesnt work anymore.
it says its dumping, but no file comes out.
I do it 4-5 times, and then sometimes it outputs a MEMDUMP6.DMP but its 0 bytes.
And I kept trying and eventually a real one came out as MEMDUMP4.DMP
Mind you there is no 0-3 in there...

440mb free on the stick so I dont think its a size issue

Searching problems like that happened to me and it turned out to be the .ini. So wipe it out/revert to a good .ini and try again.

Well chkdsk in cmd said volume locked.
So I did a windows one, said no probs but it made a FOUND.000 folder full of memdumps. So i just formatted it all and put the files back.
Its spitting out memdumps again so i guess all is good.
On 2nd thought i MAY have gotten too close.
I remember I was at 124mb free or so when i start dumping a couple. maybe I passed my freespace and corrupted something.

Oh...hold select down whilst playing a game. The menu should come up...its pretty straight forward after that.


All the cheats are in the cheas.db database file that came with cwcheat. The cheats should automatically load up.

Ummm...I never really tried that function, you can search for cheat, add the address and then modify it in the list.

Or you can go into the the database file and open it with notepad and add the cheat on your PC.
