hey, i tried my ff7 save state on the new 3.03 custom firmware with cw cheat mem card loader and it seems to corrupt the save files, is this something with the new custom firmware? oh well, just letting u know

This is a new version of cwcheat for pops which finally enables again usb support in pops.
Usb was missing because usb.prx is missing from the reboot process of the pops mode so if you tried to load a cwcheat (or another prx) with usb imports you couldn't get it to load (it was discarded by the kernel).
So in this version i'm offering two more builds with usb support enabled and a readme which explains you how to load usb.prx into your psp in pops mode (i couldn't add usb.prx to the archive for two reason first of all it's different for every psp and second it's illegal distribuiting it)

anyway except this new function there were various fix to reported problems, a new id identifier function, complete support to 303OE also with mc working and with more error reporting and finally a suggestion: put cwcheat bus/cpu mhz to 0 (which is now the default) because the sony psx emulator has a sort of dynamic overclocking which can't work if you set a cpu/bus frequence and with 0 set in cwcheat it's clock management functions are disabled.

I really hate having to make this my first post, but I'm having some issues now.

I was using the previous release and it worked fine. I updated to this version, and now it won't work when I hold Select playing a PSP game. I've double checked everything and I seem to be out of ideas.

Weird thing is that it works fine in PSX mode - just not is PSP mode. I'm using the new 3.03 OE-A, and I have double checked to make sure the plugin is enabled in Recovery Mode.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Oh boy. Sometimes I feel so retarted. I must have deleted the .prx file for the PSP version, lol.

Don't know if this will help anyone, but if someone was starting off with CWCheat it could be a bit overwhelming. So I'll just make a note for those that might find it helpful and are just starting.

If you plan on starting to use CWCheat, make sure you grab the first release for 3.02OE (CWCHEAT_0_1_6_REVB_for_da _302OE). Copy the contents after you extract it (from MS_ROOT) to the root of your memory stick.

Then download the latest version on the previous page (which is currently: CWCHEAT_016_REVF_FOR_303O E-POPS-MC-PSX.RAR). Do the same as above. Make sure you have cwcheat.prx, game.txt, cwcheatpops.prx and pops.txt in the seplugins folder on the root of your memory stick. And to make sure, double check that you have both plugins enabled in recovery mode.

@Weltall: Just a suggestion, but you might want to include an all-in-one release so it doesn't confuse people. People starting off with the latest release will find out that PSP cheats won't work. Other than that, I really appreciate your work, and keep up the great job!

Aight, it recognizes CTR as PSXEXE now. I enabled the "Unlock Everything," cheat and I still only have the regular 8 characters :P. Did you get any of the codes working, weltall?

enable them in select cheats and then enable the "master" enable cheats in main menu
