So far I've played with Master Chief, Gold Elite, and Dante. They all play great! Keep up the good work!

Also I've begun work on a Jackal. He's gonna take longer to make because I only have 9 sprites to work from, but that isn't stoping me. Hopefully I can finish him by sometime in the weekend.
Cool, I really wanted you to make a Jackal. :)
bomberman is finally here but a bit glitchy will be updated though  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=25D9CZFW
has anybody tried it yet? :humped:
:o it froze me psp 1 or 2 times but its ok

u should fix tat if u plan 2 release a bomberman 2
yeah those were supposed to be bombs lol :)
o  he's bomberman so wat r u going 2 make next
I've found that since the Jackal has so limited of moves that it is complicated to make new animations for him(or is it it?) Anyways I'm currently done with his walking/jumping/etc animations and I'm now on his attacks. All this can get tiresome so I got Sheepy!
Sheepy is great, becuase when your working on sprites, you have something to entertain you while you work!
I just thought I'd share Sheepy because I stubled upon him while trying to find other software to convert sound files (hoping on of them could convert the sound and it would magically work with characters)
sheepy is evil he keeps staring at me and i think he flicked me off :shifty:
well im taking requests so anyone with a good sprite sheet just post it oh and its first come first serve lol :p

Thank you drake. you helped me with your guide and with the variables. But when i was done with him i saved him. Then later i wanted to add more on to him but when i loaded him the sprites were gone! the hitpoints and everything else was still there. What happend?
I dunno. He just said the guy with the big cross. I was pointing out a name. Yet, I'm not an anime enthusiast so I wasn't positive.Zitat:

can u make goku using tat sprite sheet i found
So guys is this basically the Super Smash Bros game?]
(that was on N64)
No, this is very different from that game. The original super smash brother for the N64 is a 3D game, this however is a sprite based homebrew game. Even without the 3D iit is still a great game. The thing I love about this game is it lets you make you own characters. Give it a try (but by the looks of your sig you'll be getting a version 2.0 PSP, so sorry about that. :(Zitat:

Anyways, Once I finish the Jackal I think I'll try to do a level. Probably Hyrule Temple, or something in the Zelda Universe.
Make sure all the .BMPS you used are in the same folder the .CHR file is in, When all of them (the .PAK isn't needed to edit the character, just to play with him in the game) are in the same folder he should load properly.Zitat:

Hope this helps!

Well I've been away for a few days, anyway to add sound yet?
Thank you again Drake. I am currently making a character from Metal Slug. http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/2...edenemy7iz.gif theres a link to him. So if anyone has Metal Slug sound please tell me.
I don't have Metal Slug sound effects specifically, however here are some places to get sound effects for your character (although their useless until we can get the to work):Zitat:

Other than that try google, that's your best bet.
hey drake the pics on your smash gp guid arent working can you fix them? and when i get sprite sheets none of them have a walking sprite. i must be doing something wrong can you pleas help
Have u guys gotten the new bgs from the pack released on the home page today? They are really nice. Hey drake in your tutorial can u tell them that u can have more than just twelve characters. I have 30 and they all work from the first page. its just getting annoying hearing all those people saying that it sucks that they can only have 12 chars even after ive said in the forums a couple time that u can have more and how to do it.
I finished my guy and am ready to play him and he shows up as a Black box? Does this have to do with the pallette?
Yeah, I'm in the process of moving moving stuff around. Freewebs only lets me have 50 files so the guide should be back to normal in a few minutes.Zitat:

And for the sprite sheets: not every sprite sheet has walking animations, you'll either have to make them yourself, or find a new sprite sheet.
OK, I am having serious trouble getting more than 24 characters. I would like to be able to support 30+ on one page like you have been talking about, but I need to know what you do. As of now SmashPack version 2.0 will have 24 characters on two screens unless I learn otherwise.
