Well, I've gotten sounds, though its complicated. I've posted a Beta Version on Sora Version 9.0 my website here.
I'm working on a guide for everyone so you all can add sounds to your characters. Be warned however, the software used to make the sounds costs money. Their is a trail version, but I don't have the trail version.
Great job drake! They all work good. Are there sounds for the ice and lightning ones too. I couldnt tell cuz the fire one is louder than the rest. But other than that i cant wait til u put sounds with all ur chars!

About Sora's sounds: Yeah I know Blizzard sounds a bit low in volume so I'll crank it up. Thunder doesn't have a sound yet :(, but if you have any videos/music files with thunder or any other sounds you think I should use I can rip them out of the video/music file and put them with Sora. Hopefully I can rip Hiei and Yusuke voices from the one of the 112 episodes I have.

Drake250: I did that and I used the URL but it still doesn't work. MalumEnSe told me that only PREMIUM members could have pics in their sigs. But thanks for the help anyways. Oh and for the thunder, why dont you just rip is outta a FF ROM or sumthin.

Master Chief is basically finished, sounds and everything. I'll update him maybe once more if their a bug or he has some unbalanced move I've overlooked. Untill then Enjoy.

EnigmaShadow, good suggestions, actually they're the two characters I really want to make, 1 problem, SPRITES!!!
I found a page that had rips of Cloud from KH:COM but the link was broken and i just got a 404 error, the site has not repaired the link so i'm assuming they probably wont.
Solid Snake sprites are near impossible to find, well, ones worth using for a character that is.
IF anyone ever finds some Kingdom hearts Cloud sprites or good Solid Snake ones, I would be in your debt

Well this topic has finally been stickyed and I just finished downloading Cool Edit Pro 2.1 I should have my character updated soon.
I found sounds for shadow but I can't find any kirby sounds, any help would be appreciated.

It's been a while since I last posted here...Anyways...work is killing me, and my computer messed up again during the weekend...I haven't had any time at all to compile my MEW TWO character...When last I tested him I needed to tweak his regular attacks...but I'd rather preffer someone with better knowledge of the program to compile him for the SMASHGP community to enjoy...I'm telling you I have very little time to deal with this...and it would already be a waste of my time to trash those already worked on sprites.
So if anybody wants to work on him please PM me & let me know....
Sprites alone...he's looking great...I was also doing sprites for agent Smith from the matrix, but they're not even near halfway done.
I also want to add a big congratulations to all of you working on this proyect...and to matkeupon (did I spell it right?) for making the game look better....Now you gotta improve tha enemy AI (get the to stop hanging from the cliffs forever & notice when a weapon is empty-they keep clicking on the guns like if they were on crack!!) other than than-Thanks for one of the most awesome homebrew yet!!

thanks for the Cloud sprites Disgaea. I will probably start working on him pretty soon, even though I just made regular Cloud from FF7. I will also probably try to finish my Naruto character that I started a while back.
I want to start adding sounds to my characters but I dont know of any good sites with sounds, besides, did cloud even make sounds in FF7, never played Kingdom hearts so I wouldn't know about that either. I kinda want to just get some generic slashing sounds and maybe the odd grunt or yell (whatever fits the character)
Oh and lastly, anyone know how to rip sounds out of an .avi file?
The way I rip sounds out of anything is with Mini MP3 Recorder (scroll to the bottom of the page). This program when you select Wave Out Mix records anysound played on your PC. I use it to rip sounds out of alot of things. Some examples are all of Sora's and most of Master Chiefs sounds were ripped with that software. You don't need to record only a little part becuase you can just edit out the parts of the sound you don't need with Cool Edit Pro 2.1. Also I'll keep a look out for some sound effects of cloud (although you could just rip some from the FFVII:AC trailors).Zitat:

Ugh, I really wish someone would release the source code for this. Basic, C, w/e, I really don't care, but I'd be more than happy to work on it and make it more user friendly.

A few new characters and updates and we finally figure out how sounds work. There is also a download pack featuring a bunch of "new" levels.

hey im Ky Ive been enjoying smashgp. by the why did makepon release new palletes because 0.2's gfx are messedup, but anyway..........I'v been working on yamcha for a while now....... I have experienced the ups and downs of making him good and not glitchly. Its funny I heavily used drakes old guide, but it would have been good to specify x and y standard levels...... the first time I finished yamcha he kept throwing himself off the stage it was funny but sad........anyway with drake guides it been easier to create my character.....but hes still not perfect....Tailsnake has been a huge help too..........but anyway if anyone would like to release yamcha for themselves go right a head Ill give you the sprites.........I made yamcha for myself.....
But anyway .........drake two for your coolest characters hiei and yuskye have a bad giltches.........when you grab a character you disapear you to the ground and a star sprite from the staff appears in the ground........but this glitch has a benifit for hiei. if you grab a char.... on a platform that thin meaning platforms with space under it and press the motion back,down,forward very fast he will have the ability to fly.......he can fly up, down, side to side. Now because hiei has moves that propell him down and up he wont fly off the screen....... if you get good you can stay in the air for the whole match.......oh I forgot the char who was grabed hovers in the air for a easy kill.........by the way only do it on a flat platform because it you do it on a soild ground because the only way to get out will be for the cpu to throw a item at you..........one more giltch small.......hiei and yuskye have a super chain combo... If you do down x smash attack while the a char is directly under you... you can chain up to 1200% damage!!!!! more if you wanted to. cool but giltchly... yuskye's can be done by using forward x smash
attack.........

To AJP: Welcome to our humble little character thread. Not sure what characters you have tried but Kirby has been done, quite well I might say as well. The sprites you posted are for a link-kirby, unfortunately, with the nature of the charedit program, a creator could not simply make different forms for kirby unless they were a completely different character altogether, takes away the point of him being Kirby. And frankly, yea those meta knights dont really have a lot of animation.
PS. You might want to edit your post to make those images just links, they take up less room that way. Oh and you may want to post requests in the character requests thread, not very active but I still look at it sure some other people do too.
To Kykiskye: Welcome to the forums. If you are having problems with certain numbers like jumping or movement just ask us here.
PS. You may want to space our your posts a bit instead of using .... Makes it easier to read.

Yeah, you're post was hard to follow, yet I know most of those glitches. I havn't fixed them as I am in the process of ripping sounds from different episodes of Yu Yu Hakusho. So when I get all the sounds nice and readt I'll release them with most glitches fixed. I did fix the Down attack glitch on Hiei though.Zitat:

Hey, I've made Ayla from Chrono Trigger.
At the moment there is no sound. I need to start looking for CT sound affects.
The only bug in it i know of is when you are knocked over the sprite flashes once then disappears until it hits the ground. I know that I have included the right sprite in the pak so i don't know what to do.
Also does anyonw know how to create paks with over 80 sprites as the Acrobat Doc says you can't.
I next plan to make Frog.
i dont have MS paint, i think i deleted it from my PC.WHat should i use instead so i can make smash chars???
may be you can copy those files off your windows cd
