In you guide it says to open the .txt file and edit it but your very vauge in that area. This is what I'm confussed over:

I heard someone made Solid Snake for SmashGP, does anyone have a link? I'd really appreciate it. :)
From what I know, there hasnt been yet. My site has all the characters(execpt for game and watch), but i dont have solid snake. Ive seen his sprites around, maybe you should give it a try, make your very own character. or just ask someone to make him, but youll have to wait a hope someone does do himZitat:

Yamcha's my favourite Dragonball character, but he isn't very popular, so I was very surprised when I found him on your site. FYI the character Roy ends up messing up the palette on the game every once in awhile when I select him... looks like he will not make the cut over the Master Hand...
Also Gotenks freezes with some kind of palm strike, I haven't quite figured out when or how but FYI.

Ok so I got a test level working, but now I con't make anything else because when i save it it says:

instead of:
{ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, etc
Any idea why?
EDIT: nevermind, i fixed it after re-downloading Mappy. I guess I'll start on Coagulation (or Blood Gultch same difference in 2D) and some other maps.

Let me explain... Everything at the top, down to the sprites of his KO death sequence sprites, are the sprites I have ripped of Master Hand.
Everything below his KO death sequence sprites (Where you see his drill starting sprite, middle finger, thumbs up) are my edits I have done, an attmpt for other moves and poses. The very bottom ones are his pointing finger move, and squeezing an oppoennt.
I looked at your edits, and they were pretty good. But I was thinking, maybe you could improve on the character a bit. :)
So, what do you think? Do you think these would be any useful to you for your Master Hand for SmashGP?
Yea I know... I really like the move the way it is. I know that as a computer MasterHand will fly off the edge, but I really wanted the move to be a "get-back-on-the-edge" move. You know how Luigi can fly head first? I wanted that sorta thing. I very frankly have no problem with it, that's why I include my source sprites =D If you have the smashedit program you can just put the .chr file in the source sprite folder and it will load everything, pictures included. Then you can edit him as you see fit. You can get the smashedit program from the first page of this forum. Enjoy!Zitat:

I used some of my edited sprites in my own Master Hand character for my mugen work. But since the sprites I used were scaled to look high res for mugen's standard size purpose, I saved a copy of the original GBA size, just for future references, and other uses like this time. :)

BTW, does SmashGP support palette swapping, or chaarcter color selection, since it's kind of a standard feature for most fighting games, or is that feature lacking in SmashGP?

I'll make a Levels guide once I can get new levels completely working. right now we can make modifies levels bu not completely new. What I mean is I'll import some cool tiles in Mappy. Then I'll make the level and save and edit it. But when I play it in SmashGP all the newtiles are replaced with the old Mario themed one. I have a cool tetris level based of the NES Tetris game but all the tiles are replaced so it looks nothing like tetris. I have some Ideas of how to fix this so when I or someone else figures it out I'll make a guide.Zitat:

So no ones know how to get new tiles to display in SmashGP? Well, just making mario-ish levels isn't anything too exciting. I'll make New Levels whenever we figure out how to do that. For now I'll continue with making characters.

When in paint make sure the background of you color is that color. In paint (I'm assuming you use paint) Aqua should be here:

Also make sure each sprite your going to be using is saved as a 256 color BMP.
If you're still having trouble with the background please look here in my guide for extra help.
