ok, i just finished my second char Blanka, from street fighter 2(hopefully it turns out better than anakin) and i was wondering if anybody could find some sounds for him. ive been searching google but i cant find anything, anyone know some good sites or anything. and i also need someone to test him out and make his pak(win98 dont do it right)

Well..... If only someone had the emulator, and the game he came from, perhaps someone would help you rip his sounds/voice set. ;)

btw, i got some bad news. for some reason everytime i make a character, and get someone else to make the pak(since i cant) my character is just static(even for them). it happened with anakin, and now its happening with blanka, and it will probably happen with pimple, my next char that im half way done on.

sorry but just looking at this, and coming from a mod i cant believe u would say taht, seeing as how some people started with above 1.5 so of course they are going to updgrade..but guess wut he has homebrew now, since he could have downgraded to 1.5 or stuck with 2.0 and its cheesy games..so haha..lolZitat:

Well SmashGP is nice, But I've always wanted to make my own game. So far I have a basic layout in my mind of how to play it. And Ideas of how to play. Now I'm not all ideas. Today I got 3 objects to display properly, as well as a bullet to move (although the bullet just shoots, doesn't do anything else, no damage, nothing). If I give this project up I'll go back to SmashGP. I'll still be here to answer any questions (answering a quesion is much fatser than making a character). Anyways enough with my babbling here's an early screen of my game.
Note: I started on it today, so It's not anywere near done. I'm taking baby steps with this so getting a playable (right now all i can do is hit space to shot) game on the computer will take some time. I'd like to port this the PSP (you may have guessed that by the 480x272 resolution of the picture).
I'll try to finish Godzilla whithin October, slowly working on him when I feel like it.
But as I said I'll still be more than happy to answer SmashGP questions.

im still waiting for someone to help me fix my bug(they just show up as static) i think betasword could be close to something but i dunno. its something about added a palette or something, i have no idea.
im also holding back starting characters until i get my brand new computer, hopfully in a week or so, so that way i dont have to work around the win98 bugs

Okay, I need some ideas on this Venom Char I am starting. I am using Venom from "Capcom vs. Marvel" series. I have an Awsome sprite sheet from "Grim and Bonzai".
I want to get some ideas on how to incorporate the webbing that venom and spider man use into the game if possible. My thinking is that it can't be done, without have to add a seperate animation for every other char being webbed.
Please give me your feedback please. And to the moderators if this is the wrong place, please move to the best location.
what i was going to do with spiderman was to make a web net, with spaces and stuff and put the hit point at the end of the net so it causes damage and looks sorta like their caught in the net. ill add a picture for you to see(i still havent tried it out so i dont know if it works) the X is where the hitpoint goes.Zitat:

and for exdanza im trying to wrap them as one of his moves(i dont know how itll turn out), and than have a actually webball thing projectile. its right now only an ideea, but i think it'll work. (ps im still waiting for my new pc so i have only done very minor things)
ok ive been trying to get my wrap around web(made by wolfwood, thanks) try to look normal for all characters. i have to make it an average size. so, for characters like kirby and mewtwo, who arent average size, it mighht look a little weird, is that fine

If any of you have noticed, my SmashGP character Guide's pictures don't work (I've recieved a few emails notifing me of this). I'm working to fix this by moving my website to a new host, and I'll update the whole layout.

hey guys, its been awhile since anyone has replyied here. anyways i finally finished a character, that i think is good enough to release. im not sure cause, i havent even tested him yet. i upgraded to 2.0 so i could play gta, and i have dial up so itll take a long time to download the downgrader.

ive updated Spawn, so now he can jump, making him now Spawn v1.

if you can find some good jellyfish sprites, i could make that his projectile, and i have him hitting people with his spatula, i think that beats the net. anyways thanks for the comments
