Default [RELEASE] PSP SysMon (System Moniter) v0.1

Hey,

I'm here to release a new app i coded during the day which uses standard lua functions. I created this app solely for learning purposes like the psp specific functions and creating menus, rollovers etc.

Quote:
..::PSP SysMon by xmOD::..

Readme:

:: What is it for?
.: Use it to get info about your PSP's battery and and to test WLAN. SysMon was created with a view to learn about the standard functions that lua offers while creating something useful.

:: How do i use it?
1. Install PSP SysMon by copying the 2 folders to GAME or GAME150, whichever is your 1.50 homebrew folder.
2. Execute PSP SysMon from the XMB.
3. Navigate through the menu to explore.

NOTE: Try different combinations with this. For Example, connect the AC charger and take out the battery while running PSP SysMon, see if it can detect that the battery is not present. I tried keeping my battery in the freezer (lol!) for about 5 mins and then tested the temperature, seems it showed the accurate reading!

:: Can this brick my PSP?
.: PSP SysMon CANNOT brick your PSP.

:: Can i suggest features to be added?
.: Yes! You can send feedback and report any bugs you found by PM'ing me on the QJ Forums.

Enjoy!
Download: PSP SysMon v0.1

Heh, good job on the Password recovery app, but I already tried to make an app like this (PSPInfo) and it didn't turn out too popular, so I just dumped the whole project. I sure hope you can make this into something awesome, Your development shows potential :P

This is kinda dumb, So easy to make and most of the stuff in it, You can do from the PSP instead of having to start this up.
Why would you encrypt this?

And the worst part is

THE QJ WRITERS FRONTPAGED IT

I've said it before and I'll say it again,

"Anytime anyone makes anything, a Qj writer orgasms."

-= Double Post =-
And if anyone wanted to use something in this program, they could just read a tutorial because this joke of a program does nothing more.

EVERYTHING gets on QJ's front page now-a-days...
I swear if this makes it on front page, I will make a button tester and release.

Its programs like this that makes the people question the legitimacy of encrypting LUA scripts.

Why don't I just encrypt my bash scripts for Linux?

Encryption should only come to files that use online play, Thats about it.
As commented on the front page, We got IRShell which does so much more and i just have to press select.

One of the reasons why Qj was banned from digg for so long.

Well this and the fact that so many of their stories are taken from other sites.

That is why I respect Digg (not sure for what, I just do)

Wonder how long till the thread gets locked....

I'm unclear on how one would actually respect digg, I suppose its having respect for the opinion that the community has on tech related issues.

Yeah... This is useless. A button tester is more useful than this. Hell, hello world in C is better than this . When u release something ****ty that i can easily do Via the XMB, you open yourself to criticism... which is exactly what im doing

This completly sux. What is the point of it really? I see no use of going out of my way to check the battery when i can just use the XMB. BTW, the sony method for the battery is much better. U phail my friend.

^^^^^Thats what happens when u release something i dont like
Have a nice day

dude it does'nt just show the battery life.. try it, it shows some other info too and read the readme for other things! and i clearly stated in my post that i created it so that i can learn about lua and otherwise its of no use... try to read the authors post the next time and then comment.. if you dont like somthing, then just walk away rather then ****ting all over the place..

How about a joystick tester too? (like the one you have in windows control panel)

This would help me because my joystick is f*cked! When I'm playing Socom, my seal moves without me doing nothing.

I think I need a new PSP, my one is in ruins!

Your centered analog stick is reading at a higher number than it should. Mine reads high going right, IE instead of 20 it reads 25 so some games think Im pressing it.

And btw, who wants me to decompile?
