If you're on a downgraded TA-082 and tried connecting it to the comp through usbhost (IE IRShell or Devhook) you'll notice that when trying to install the new hardware, instead of being recognized as a PSP Type B, it shows up as unknown hardware. From what I can gather, this'll fix that issue.

I already downgraded my ta82 psp and upgraded to 3.03 OE-B..

does that mean I have things that are corrupted or something? Like is this important to me right now?

YES YOUR PSP IS CORRUPT! IT CAN BRICK ANY SECOND!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding.

This is really only for people who try to use USBhost to load homebrew,music,videos and "backups" from the PC.

But the corrupted keys should not affect normal USB use such as using the USB connection option in the XMB.

ive had this same problem, and i dont think the keys are considered corrupt. just changed. Anyways ive noticed that yes this did happen to my psp. SO i found some guy/girl at ps2dev thanks to someone on the forums here at qj. and i found a copy of usbhost for ta-082 mobos.

and you scared me there for a sec anubis lol

ashika = stapol = the guy who sat in #psp on irc.lan.st and made some sh*tty code that didnt compile and basically asked mathieulh, harleyg, TUW and jas0nuk more than you could imagine. enough so to where i dont think he actually did anything.

ashika = NOOB.

if anything, he had a proof of concept. but he didnt make ****.

i have 3 days worth of logs prooving it too.

How come the nethost and usbhost work fine for me? (in irshell, and yes i have the downgraded ta082 mobo on 3.03 oe-b)

There where 2 versions of the DG. One of them said it had an update on something that could cause premature bricks (corrupt keys?). Maybe that's why.

Guys its working fine, i've just dowloaded the USBHostfs and now its running awesome, 90GB memory stick
