VSH Rebooter PRX
v0.2 by MaTiAz

UPDATE: I have removed the installer. People were having too much trouble because I
trusted they would understand that you can't flash an nonexistant topmenu_plugin.rco.
I am sorry for the semi-bricks but I thought people wouldn't touch the topmenu_plugin.rco
flasher if they didn't have a topmenu_plugin.rco to be flashed :|
Now you have to install the plugin manually.

Rebooter PRX can reboot your PSP from the Network Update menu or Location Free TV menu.
You can shut down your PSP by holding L while selecting Network Update/Location Free TV
(depends on your installation choice)
The rbprx mod, which reboots your PSP by holding L and by default it shuts the PSP down
is included.

I have read all steps that you said and i disabled all plugins but when i run the program it runs little time and the led makes lights and after it takes error 80020148 :S. What i do wrong¿

Make sure you're running it on 3.03OE or 2.71SE, and make sure that the game folder is set to 1.50 kernel.

I have 3.03 OE-B and in the recovery my game kernel is 3.03 i have to put it on 1.50? i put it on the folder game.

PD: I solve changing in the recovery like you say kernel to 1.5 :P

Back up your files, then reformat your memory stick, then put your files back on. Should solve your problem....

Would it be safe to manually flash update_plugin.prx and lftv_plugin.prx to nodule and module respectively?
[Edit: they both go in nodule]

Can i get my MP3 plugin and rename it to lftv_plugin.prx and then flash manualy? Also i have the old update_plugin.prx (the one that came with version 1) isit safe if i flash that the same as i did with version manually?

One suggestion, could you maybe switch the operations round so that the shut-down is normal but when L is pressed it reboots?

Yes, sure, except don't mess around with vsh/module/ folder, as the SE(OE recovery menu is in there. Remember to delete the files from flash before you flash them, PSP filer doesn't seem to do that.

Yeah, you can flash them manually. The installer was designed for people who don't know how to flash.

I was about to post the same,normal press -> shut down, L+Press -> Reboot would be much better..

I can attest that in 2.5, if the file is present, Filer will pop up a dialog and ask if you wish to overwrite the file. Thanks for the quick reply.

No, I didn't meant that. It sure pops up an window and asks if you want to replace it, but then it'll retain the original filesize of the update_plugin.prx.

Download link for Reboot PRX Mod which now shuts down by default and reboots from L-trigger.

Oh thanks, that's a good thing to know. And thanks for the power down mod, now I can set up my Location Free (aka "Self Destruct", lol) to power down. I'll just rename to lftv_plugin.prx.

hey i would like to say this is great and i also have a suggestion could you make it where the R trigger puts the psp in sleep mode or stand by so that way i can start up right in the XMB and not have to wait for it to do a hard reboot just a thought and great work man keep it up
