need to know how to make a flat image of all the textures that wraps around a 3d model.
like this.... ![]() this is from one of my games. it is the texture for a 3d character model. ![]() and, this is the texture for a 3d model of a plasma gun. anyone know how to make the texture be a flat image like that? Im building an fps game called "Whispers In The Dark" for windows. |

The UV coordinates need to be mapped correctly in a 3D modelling package. When you export it to a format (eg MD2), the model loader in the game should take care of the vertex to UV mapping as the information should be in the format.
