Default Developing for PSP... total NOOB!

Hi,

I am thinking about trying to develop some small utils for the PSP (for personal use) but am not sure where to start. I have done some C/C++/Java in the past but am not sure where to begin when it comes to the PSP.

If I write a simple C++ program, how do I compile it to work on the PSP?

Also, does anyone have any code snippets that would show me how to access the contents of the UMD? Even if it's just listing the files.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Rob
