ive heard some stuff about psp sdl ive googled but im still unsure as to what it is. Anyone prepared to shed some light? i heard that it rivaled lua in terms of simplicity.

SDL is a graphic library for C or C++. See libsdl.org for the original library, and you can get the PSP version from ps2dev's svn... It is harder then Lua, but is not hard.

In addition, it handles input and sound.

The problem is that the PSP port of SDL is not brillant.
