Default Pspdevwin32 and Cygwin

Hey,
So i decided to program C instead of Lua. I installed cygwin, and pspdevwin32. The automake option does not work for me, but i think there is an alternative method in which you can simply move the contents of pspdevwin32 (it has whole environment) into one of the folders in cygwin (my friend did it before, but he doesn't live near me anymore ). Anyways, i installed everything, including toolchain and a projects folder in usr. But, my question is, where do i put the pspdevwin32 folder (or the contents of it) in the cygwin folder? Thanks, help is appreciated. I did do a bit of C on the pc a couple months ago, which is why i decided to do C on the psp instead of lua (maybe i can start lua after a bit of C?).
By the way, this is my first thread i posted, so please help. . Also, i thought pspupdates would be the best place to come for help since this is so called 24/7, and this place has a reputation for smart people (seriously, look at the download section).

Did you take a look at www.psp-programming.com 's tutorials? It shows you how to set up the SDK.

Yes i did. I did have the automake problem though. I did see my friend set up the development environment without svn update using this win32 installer though. He did show it to me personally, but i forgot how to do it.

Yes, i know. Right now it's not working. However, earlier yesterday, it was working fine, but i had the automake problem: "Automake is not installed".

Dont do the windows version of the SDK, use the real deal: cygwin. I guess wait for ps2dev to come back online... they are down a lot so it shouldnt be long.
