We're about to publish an article on v0.8, but we're kinda at a loss to what changes there are in this one compared to version 0.7.

What changes are there, and can you provide us with a changelog or something to update it with after we post it? Sorry for the trouble there, but it'd help us to explain what else people should look for in the release. :)

anybody got any idea how to achieve this in paint.net? the 16.7 kb .tga that works that is.

lol, i had the exact same problem as you, when your picture is ready goto image and then somewhere you can change your image colors to 8 bit, 4 bit etc , if your there take the lowest one and set colors to 32. then goto image, palet ,and then something like set transparency. then set transperancy to black. save it to tga but before you press save, press options and choose 8 bit and not compressed. press ok. then open the file with a hex editor and delete everything from row 4310h colom 4 to the end. end change row 4310h colom 3 to 00. then save it and use start.ba

I'm working on .9, nothing will be changed with tgaWave but I have an extractor packed in to extract the TGAs from a RCO.

It's done, now, I'm debating if I should compile the bat's I have now into EXE's (like for wine and stuff)

Anyone object to converting them to EXE's?

nope ya cant cause duality and all the old ones nevada made are pure hex editing.. no textures in them.. the waves werent even really changed just creative hex coloring.. only reason i know cause i colored them all.. and im pretty sure that pic is just a wallpaper

You've oviously never seen the PS3 waves in motion. They are really cool looking, and i think it would be awsome to have them on my psp.

The ps3 wave is dumb and i think it looks freakin ghey. On the ps3 all it does is move a little. Why are peep so hung up on getting it perfect? It's GHEY!

Hey guess what? Not everyone thinks the same way you do. I like how they look, and I want them on my PSP. It has nothing to do with you, so you can have your random colorful waves, and ill take my minimalist PS3 type waves, thats just what I like.

The PSP Theme Pack 4 has some good waves, a couple look pretty close to the PS3 wave.

soo will my question get answered this time if i offer... say... 5k points for a working solution that doesn't require installing a new program? so i will ask it again: How can i use paint.net to make waves, or is it possible?
