I had one for about 15 mins, just right now, because i formated my memory stick and i had my stuff backed up in that folder.....

and now its gone, but nevertheless, that was freaky what you just assumed...

yep, i have a psp stuff folder lol, 2 in fact, one on main comp, one on laptop

Hey, If somebody figures out a way to make the waves not be as stretched, then I have a sweet idea for a wave. On photo shop, there is a pencil that looks like leaves, and they show up in different sizes and colors as you click. So, it would look like a nice fall breeze was gracing our PSPs. I think that that would look quite nice, so if anybody gets this to happen, please post it for me, because I am a loser and cannot do anything for myself.

i tryed that once already and when you change it too index the leave dont even look like leaves anymore.. but you can get the star one to work good by streching it up and down so the psp will show it like it supposed to look.. or use the transform/scale tool to smush the pic together cause again the psp will un-smush it.. i was gonna try to use that tech.. to make a senbonzakura wave with a ton a cherry blossom petal but i doubt it wil turn out right if at all

Yea, I made a fairly decent looking lobster. I made a vertical line that was pretty lick, and then I put the lobster looking up on top of that, and it look alright, but one of the other waves was a second tail, and it kind of jumbled it up a bit. I wish that sony would release season waves that you could change to in the theme settings, so they could have leaves, snow, flowers, and for summer, I don't know, maybe sweat or radiation. That would be nice.

i made a leaf one in like 2 minutes... ill up if you want.. im lazy.. and its not the same type leaf crazyeyes used.. this is the stock ps leaf brush

I found out that there is a maximum amount of RCOs I can have in my system_plugin_bg folder, and I had exceeded that drastically. I'm still having problems cutting it down, though. I have 1.1 MB of RCO's, and whenever I try to load WaveFlasher it crashes.
EDIT: Nevermind. Apparently, one of the files didn't have an extension, and that made it bug out.

I had the same problem trying to use a .bmp file for a preview screen.

It's possible that the color is set by a hex value in the pgf files. Or maybe if we found the file that sets the color overlays for the themes we could hex edited that to make the overlay darker.

Kuchiki-taicho's shikai as a wave would be awesome, though I agree it would be quite difficult to do and make look good, while still having enough black, or least amount of colors to make it small enough "compressed."

Thanks. And that other one is nice also, I think it is a very nice concept. Did it automatically show up facing the right way, because when I made one with words horizontally, they showed up backwards.

naa you have to flip it.. and i also hex edited to make it show more in the back.. also the letters i used look fine facing either way

In the .rco the offset 0x94 (talking about the the version used in TGAWave) holds a value which tells the XMB how much the packed data is occupying from the rco (padded to a 4 byte boundary). The offset 0x120 holds a value which tells the XMB what is the exact size of the packed data. And finally the offset 0x128 has the size of the unpacked data, which only needs to be changed if the unpacked file's size is changed.

Nice one!!! Hey, a good app that sumone should make (probly not to hard) is u get a TGA, so these guys that work to get waves dont have to make them in all these different colors, just provide TGA, and use a Program to Convert them to that Colro (Change Hue, Tint, etc) and make the RCO, but u can change the hue of a picture. So that would be neat for people that don't kno how to do that stuff. Just a thought!:tup:

EDIT: Woops! I learned sum stuff from GT bout TGA, i dont think this would exactally be possible, probly more complex!

Just rename the rco to system_plugin_bg.rco otherwise if you are using Wave Flasher just put the image and rco in the system_plugin_bg folder in the root of the mem stick.
