http://www.lostnovice.com/vulpix/TGAWave.rar (current version v.8) If you want older versions, check out dl.qj.net. .5 is the best one to use if you do not want any padding or a RCO selection screen. Do not use .3 as this one was bugged. Quote:

This time there is no hex editing required, all you need is a nice image editing program (aka Photoshop, etc) and you can edit your wave's texture. ![]() Apply filters to that image in Photoshop/whatever, and you can change your XMB's wave textures easier than ever. DarkStone and I have found out to properly do this.
You still need to hex edit it. You need to 1. Replace the last 18 bytes to: Code:
0B002800DCD5010028000000280000007073705F6C6F6F70 Enjoy your waves.

I've edited the rar to reflect the changes, version .4 is the correct one.

ok, ive got a problem:
whenever i create a wave with this, the outcoming wave isnt animated. it is just rendered over the screen, looks cool and doesnt move. i did everything like said in the readme. edit this tga, save it as 8-bit, hex-edit the ending and replace the FFs, start the converter and flash the result. any suggestions? |

How do you guys do this part??
Replace the 18bytes to : 0B002800DCD50100280000002 80000007073705F6C6F6F70 What file ? and where? And the part of "replacing all "FF" to "C2" .. What hex editor has the option to replace this things that easily. Mine does not. thanks!! |
