I'm trying to setup the toolchain for Cygwin and so far it's still on the first file, binutils-2.16.1.tar.gz. Then it says it tries to log onto the server as anonymous, then it says "Error in server greeting" then it retries. Anyone know what I should do about this? Or is this normal?

if you are using windows then just use this it is much faster

Don't install those.

Work with cygwin. SG57 recently posted about how to grab those files if you have problems logging into the FTP server for them.

Also I think it's probably down to your security/firewall that you can' log into them.
