[WIP] PRX Sys'inf

hi guys ! Team XK are still doing some jobs on PRX.

The next PRX that will be release soon (in few days) is :

PRX Sys'inf

What is it : it's a prx you can put on an icon (update, lft, whatever you want), and when you select it, that shows some system informations :
- cpu & bus speed, free ram, free flash
- nick name & firmware ...


Why am i making this thread if it's not released : because first, i need to know if you're interested by this prx (otherwise, we stop its development); and then to know what do you want to be shown in this info'sys prx...

When it will be release, i 'll update this thread.

of course, we've started and it's even in two languages. we've some problems with the flash space, but we're trying to solve it.

if you wan't i'll release a "beta"...

...nice but how about the information layout?... my suggestion, can u implement the png/image slideshow same like "about" icon... it mean additional feature that we can add ourself...

How about battery left in shown as %?

include these too:
wifi status(should connect to test) - IP address, signal strength, DNS servers

i made an app earlier in lua which displayed all this but it would be better in the form of a prx..

I dont like the idea of WIFI Connection.... DNS Servers, IP Address ?? why would you even need the I.P Address for... what the... Thats just TOO MUCH...

maybe Signal Strenght but not those long DNS Numbers and etc etc.

But yeah man.. I'll be using this if released.

well mime.. a lot of people need that kinda info too.. i use pspvnc on a lotta networks and so i would want to know the ipaddress of the terminal i am connected to so that i can configure vnc and also i can find the DHCP servers and a lot more.. with DNS servers, i can see if i'm running a fast dns on the network or not which can enhance traffic..

there are a lotta technicalities related with these values so there are people out there who need such info..

I wouldn't mind seeing a quick display of IP address so I can make adjustment with my router if I need to. I like the idea of this prx and would like to see a beta!

yeah your right guys, itd be helpful, the only thing that I wouldn't like is seeing the WHOLE info at once.

Maybe if this had a little menu to pick from, so if we want to see our Flash , ram , CPU etc.. it wouldn't be all together with the WIFI status.

That would be a lot nicer ^^

and after some tests, that's obvious that it will need a little menu. Otherwise, there are too more informations on then screen to be readable...

only for beta test. there's not a lot of functions, but it's just to let see. use it only if you know how.

there are bugs (as sometimes freeze of the PSP). please tell me anything you see.

When ever I insert a UMD and then try to run the .prx the PSP crashes, then when I reboot the PSP and try the .prx again the PSP crashes. The only remedy I found to this was to take out the battery, put it back in, turn the PSP on, enter the time and run the .prx again. Will let you know of anymore things I find.

oh, it didnt know the GameSHaring and the Savedata prx... thanks.
