Yes, it may take up to 30 minutes to complete.
Hi Guys, I recently got this done to my psp, I have downloaded a few games but they don't work! Is it the download or are my settings incorrect? Do CSOs work on M33-4 without devhook? Thanks.
Sorry, it is against the Piracy Policy to troubleshoot the loading of game backups.
Ok Ive got 3.52 M33 installed. One of the main reasons I wanted to install it was for the "Fake Region" and "Free Region" hacks. However when using those I still cant play a region 1 UMD on my region 2 PSP that I installed this software on.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is there something else I need to install?
Any help is greatly appreciated, Chris.
Thanks for the help. I have this version now. Went to version 3.40 OE before I did this update.
Are you trying to use a game or a movie UMD? Either way i don't know why it shouldn't be working. Using a Game, the region doesn't matter.Zitat:

A movie. Its a region 2 PSP, and almost all of us over here are from the US and buy US games and movies, so I would like it to be able to play region 1 movies. You are right about the games, and there is no problem there. I saw a link to the PSP.com forums about using the 3.40 oe fake region upgrade, but I dont understand how that works exsactly. Do you use the 3.40 eboot files, like the directions for that say? or do you use the 3.52 specific files etc. ?
I'm not sure what to do for that. I've never used any UMD movie. Have you tried deleting your Flash1 files? (It's safe - Flash1 is user data, Flash0 is the firmware) The setting might not be setting properly, if you know what i mean.Zitat:

Just like the 50000 other ppl I need some help. I upgraded my psp from 3.03 OE-C to 3.52 M33 V4. And it was a smooth install , all but my wi-fi will not work. I flip the switch and the light will not come on , and if I try to conect to the net I get the wonderfull blue screen with the instructions to hit the " O " button to fix it and all the worlds problems.
Any thoughts? Or is my search-fu weak and I missed the answer..
Go to recovery, advanced, then activate USB flash1 and delete all the files.Zitat:

All. Ctrl-A then delete. It's safe - Flash1 is only user data - you WILL NOT BRICK.
im having problems..
it gets to writing 3.52 firmware...
and after about a minute the psp turns off.
i have 100% battery.
anyone got a clue why this is happening???
Is your PSP bricked or not?
If not, try leaving the charger in.
After I upgrade to 3.52 m33 can I reformat my memory stick to get rid of the files?
Yes
The folders from 3.52 m33 wont go away will it?
like ISO folder?
You can remove the iso folder but sometimes it get a little buggy without it...So it best to keep it no there even if you dont use iso...
Never did work, even in OE.Zitat:

I think i brick my psp(3.52 M33-4).
Some while ago, i try to install custom theme to my psp. After finish when I exit recovery mode, the screen become blank and off after a few second.
So......i switch on again to enter the recovery mode and try to copy back again my back up f0 and f1. But it pop up an error. The directory is corrupted/not available. Some file/folder cannot be copy.I know I revive my psp by using pandora battery..But I can only do that 2 weeks later by using my brother's psp because he is not around at the moment. Is any other way I can unbrick it?Plss Help....
don't do that with your flash0... you'll brick. restore the modified files only...
As for unbricking, can't really help you. Can you get into recovery? If so use one of Adiuvo's recovery packages (See his sig above)
i can still get into recovery..thanks for the tip..
how can i downgrade 3.40 le and then back to 3.52m33
You don't even need to downgrade. just make sure the installation files are in a folder that runs on 1.50 kernel.
witch one runes on that kernal the 1.50
Wait a minute... the battery of the PSP Classic fits into the compartment for the PSP Slim? I thought the Slim had a... well, er, slimmer battery. So does the PSP Classic's battery stick out a little then?
A lot.
Just stick it in Game150...Zitat:

Why isn't the 3.52 EBOOT hosted at dl.qj.net?
It is, for some reason it isn't placed under 'Firmwares' though. Gimme a sec, and I'll find it.
EDIT: Actually, you're right; it isn't hosted on dl.qj.net.
What is the password for the winzips of the 360M33 to extract
This one doesn't need a password.
Hey, i read through these instructions for 3.60 M33 CFW, all seems clear except for the Magic MemoryStick procedure..
Is the magic memory stick u've made(from the link provided here) the SAME one you use for this 3.60 CFW installation? .. (link is for Pandora's Battery, which also provides "Magic MemoryStick preparations"..)
Do we just follow all those preparations and use them for this 3.60 CFW install when needed??
Im confused.
Edit nevermind.
