this is all very confusing to me. i do have however a psp fat 3.52 m33 version 4 and a slim version 3.60. i dont understand the pandora battery part..it sounds so complicated =(
It says to download 1.50.PBP but then it asks to execute some other files?? What was the 1.50 file for then??
It needs some files from firmware 1.50 so you can run 1.50 homebrew among other things. The 1.50 update contains those files. Just follow the guide as it is. There's no waste in downloading it. I'd also hold onto the 1.50 update as you may need it again in the future and it's not going to change.Zitat:

ok, i'll post here for help......
i had a fat psp with cwf 3.51m33 and downgraded that to 1.50 with a pandora battery and memory stick.
i bought a new psp slim 2001(not 2000) with fw 3.60. i want to have cfw 3.60m33 on my psp slim 2001. will this work with the 2001 cause the instructions says only 2000. thanks.
it's also asking for a password for the 3.60m33???
It means 2000-series, which includes PSP-2000, PSP-2001, PSP-2002, PSP-2003, etc. It will work fine on yours.Zitat:

Sorry, I forgot to add it to the guide.Code:_I_LOVE_M33_Slim_Conquered
I would have stayed on 3.52 M33, but my ....games didnt work in no umd mode, or with a UMD inserted in UMD mode. So i went back to 3.03 OE-C. Any ideas why they are not working, cause i really want to stay on 3.52 M33, but not w/o ...games. and alot of my homebrew didnt work either, and the whole GAME menu was pretty glitchy
You may have some corrup IDStorage keys. Try running keycleaner by chillywilly.
im just installed the 3.52M33 just now, but what about the updates ... do i need to install them in order or can i just jump straight into update 4???
Update 4 seems to be password protected when i download it from QJ??
You can go straight to M33-4. Password:
Code:_DANIEL_SERAFIN_BRICKED_HIS_ASS_BY_M33_
nice one ... thanks for that ... another quickie for you
wheres the option to change the CPU speed from the XMB, or is that in other version ?
Once installed M33-4, press select in the XMB, or in recovery go to Configuration.
A quick question. I have a Slim PSP 2004 Ice Silver edition here. Will the 3.60M33 work on this? It has 3.60 FW.
If it's on 3.60, yes.
Hmm then i have another question.. I already own a fat PSP with 3.52 M33.4 and a Mag. mem stick and a Pandora Batt. Thing is.. I have followed the steps in the guide but when i insert the Mem/PanBat into the Slim.. the power button only goes on for a second and then turns off again. What is wrong?
You haven't made the memory stick correctly.
Ok will check into it.
where can I find m33-4 update? ive looked and the ones Ive found were corrupt can someone post a reliable link?
Dark Alex has all the updates on his site, www.dark-alex.org

The link for the 3.52 official eboot is down.....anyone got a working one ???
cheers for the great guide.
my first time hacking the psp and this assisted me greatly. however i am having some trouble after the step below my psp slim/lite does not automatically turn off :S i have waited for about 2 hours
much help appreciated
[FIELDSET="Step 2: Flashing"][LIST][*]Take the Pandora Battery, and 'Magic Memory Stick' and place them in your PSP Slim.[*]Switch the PSP Slim on. You will be presented with a blank screen, this is normal.[*]You now have three options (not shown on the screen):
[LIST][*]Press 'X' to install the 3.60M33 custom firmware on your PSP. Once finished, your PSP will shut down automatically. Do not attempt to turn the console off your self. Make sure your PSP has at least 75% battery, and if possible has the AC Adapter plugged in.
Have the WLAN and MS lights been flashing at all?
nice forum :)
the led on the memorystick and the wlan isnt flashing at all :S its odd i followed the guide step by step...
its not bricked though because after waiting for about 2 hours i turned it off and put the 3.6 1200 mah battery in and it works fine but checking the system info its still reads firmware 3.60
note* i just edited my recent post i meant that the psp slim/lite didnt automatically turn off
Are you sure you even pressed X?
lol hahaha course.....the first try i pressed x and waited for it to turn off
hour later i try again this time spamming x
hour after that i tried holding x for 5 seconds
2 minutes later i cryed lol
I suggest you format your memory stick and create it again.
ill give it another go hopefully this time it works
cheers for the help
the two links under the OE portion wont work
It wont let me download the (official 3.52 update), and the (official 1.50 update)
i've been out of the whole homebrew, and cfw scene for a while, and I'm tring to get the best latest cfw, and It's differnt now...all the diff numbers of firmware
I think the m33 cfws are the best out...........I'm not sure
but any way, I'm trying to follow the steps and those two links are th only thing holding me back
where else can I down load the files? idk the exact name of the files
thanks in advance
Try a google search for "PSP 1.50 Update eboot" and the same but with 3.52 for the other one. Region doesn't matter.Zitat:
Zitat von KomA
Also, try searching from the QJ download page (http://dl.qj.net/) - you mgiht have to change your wording a bit as the search isn't exactly as logical as it could be.
Ill check the links. I don't see why they're not working.
Can someone link me to a working 3.52 M33-4 update.
The dax site links are acting up and I can't seem to find it on qj.
Thanks in advance.
