I'm new to the forums, I don't know where this thread should belong. So if a mod comes by this thread, could you please move it to the proper section.
K, So recently. I've tried installing custom firmware using the Pandora GUI.
I've changed my battery into a Pandora's battery, and changed my memory stick into a "Magic Memory Stick".
I did the above on my friends PSP with CFW 3.90 M33-2.
I then inserted my "Magic Memory Stick" and "Pandora's Battery" into my PSP which was on OFW 3.93. When it booted up, the screen said something along the following lines.
1) Install 3.71 M33
2) Install 3.71
3) Create NAND dump
4) Restore NAND manually.
So, I created a NAND dump first of all, because I've read that it is recommended incase something goes wrong. Then I pressed "X" to install 3.71 M33. After, it did its thing and prompted me to press "X" to turn off the PSP. Once I turn the PSP back on, I get that screen again. (The screen that asks to Install the firmwares.)
So, I thought it might've been the battery, if that was the case... then I would just buy another battery. Once I inserted my friends normal battery into my PSP. The "Sony Computer Entertainment" intro screen came up, I was relieved. But the screen was red, and all it showed was the time/date and battery life in the top right corner. After about 20 seconds or so, the PSP would turn itself off.
I've read that after you've installed the CFW, you have to go through the first time setup process again
i.e. Re-setting up Time/Timezone, date. etc.
Can someone help me out?
Did I brick my PSP?
EDIT: If I take out the memory stick, and Pandora battery. The PSP doesn't boot up, but it is turned on. Though, I CAN load recovery mode (Holding R while turning on the PSP)
