Any new advancements in PSP firmware/software repair since a few months ago?
I have a american PSP that I had to find another motherboard for because of water that got in it made it shock and melt something and it turns on but the keys are stuck. I got another motherboard but the guy I traded with (I got screwed with this deal) didn't tell me that it was a Japanese and that it was bricked. So I get it and put it in and I found out it was bricked but I was at first thinking it was an easy fix with my Pandora setup. Everything seems fine until a few seconds later after getting it running and changing the language to english when using the text input in the browser and the PSP crashes. So I notice that it just keeps messing up showing corrupt characters when using the text input but it can still run games.
So, anything new come out that I should be trying to see if it can be fixed all the way? I am still not sure if it is because of the japanese board in my american PSP or what.
