well i have researched for the past 3-4 hours and discovered a problem on my psp. i have a psp that fell and "broke the wifi" card. it gives me internal errors now when i try to use wifi. however i have researched and found others have had the same problem. some managed to fix their wifi through the use of idstorage. they fixed corrupted ones and managed to get the card working again. the question i have is how do i make a backup then fix the whole idstorage? can some1 give me step by step directions please?
i have a phat psp ta-081 mobo.
Ok, direction 1) please stop making new threads when you've been getting help in others. 2nd the people who have "fixed" the problem, most likely had corrupted their mac address and that caused it to give errors.
If you don't have despertar del cementerio 8 (ddc8) then get that first.
Then go to "NAND operations" , then select "Dump NAND" after it is finished select "IDStorage tools" then Try "Fix MAC address" as that's the only thing that could even really be related to your wifi card. If you really don't believe me on what I've already told you (hardware issue) then you can also try "create new idstorage."
first of all i know i made another post, this post does not ask for help on the wifi issue, it asks for help on idstorage so calm down, and thanks for the info, also when i dump my nand, and then say i create a new idstorage and it doesnt fix it, can i restore my original idstorage through restoring my nand? also by creating a new idstorage i read that adhoc may not work, and that the umd drive will also not work is it true?
