For anyone interested, I'm going to be making a prx locking program. Type in the pass, and you're good to go. Where would you want to store the pass though? a text file? cause you would still be able to enter recovery mode and change the password(since recovery mode can be launched before the prxs are loaded) if you need to.
so what sense does a password-mechanism have if it can be easily outsmarted by its own weapons?
hence the reason I'm asking you. How would you like it to be handled?Zitat:

These custom firmwares are awesome, some more imporvements and soon we'll be able to run homebrew without the use of loaders.

How about a prx that plays an mp3 at lets say PSP/MUSIC/music.mp3 when you press L+Home while browsing the XMB.
I don't know if it's even possible :/
That way you could veiw your photos while listening to music.
Question: In Harleygs mod. I noticed a index.dat file included. Is this the 1.0 index.dat that we need to recover the psp back to 1.5. So then say we brick our psp from trying to flash a background we then go to recovery mode and put a 1.5 update eboot on out memory card and then we can recover.
i think you also need to add "PSP Audio Recorder Beta" from:

just put the .prx onto the mem card and add it into the config and BOOM you can now recored any audio in a hombrew game or any umd movie/game in wav format to the mem stick!!!
