Try reinstalling as gpSP works fine for me :).Zitat:

I tried installing DEVHOOK and it gets me to the menu but when I select any firmware and ISO/UMD it just reboots and gives me corrupted settings. I already have 3.02 OE-B on here. Was it right to just install DEVHOOK on top of that?
Talk about this in the Devhook section on how to repair custom settings: here is probably ONLY on 3.02 OE
it actually just freezes each time I start devhook...

ok thanks

I have a PSP 1.5 not modded, like new...I have Two memory sticks One 64MB the other 1024 MB both work fine, both are formatted...
But i'm having problems getting the DXAR Dump of the 3.02OE...
This is my file structure:
X:/PSP/GAME/oeupdmaker/eboot.pbp
X:/PSP/GAME/oeupdmaker/150.pbp
X:/PSP/GAME/oeupdmaker/302.pbp
X:/PSP/GAME/oeupdmaker%/eboot.pbp
All of my files have been downloaded in qj.net, through the official guide...
I've downloaded twice those files and I tested them in the different cards through FAT (PSP Format) or FAT32 (PC Format), and whenever i run the oeupdmaker it works, it passes the 1.50 check, it gets the 1.50 files, goes to the 3.02 check, it works, and then it tries to get the 3.02 files, but it stays there forever reading from the memory card (literally hours) I have to restart the psp, but it is not crashed because the brightness button still works... I have not a clue of what's wrong... Can Somebody help???
Two hours? my PSP was working for three hours and it didn't work, i ran out of patience and restarted it, but i don't get it, why it takes 3 minutes for some, for others 2 hours for others it does not work, 'tha hell, they are psp's with equal programs and equal cpu's, it should be the same!
And mine still does not work...
The WiFi's not working on mine. Can anyone help me out? This is the error I get:
"A connection error has occurred.
A connection to the access point could not be established.
Check the security settings for the network and try again."
All of the settings are correct, as I entered them manually and triple checked them.
Someone please help me.
Can somebody post the hash for 302.PBP?
Nevermind I named it 320.pbp lol
ROFL! I'm sorry dude, but I had to laugh at that one.Zitat:

That's no internal error, or error to fret about, nor does it mean that your WiFi is busted.
Are you trying to connect to an access point that has WEP, WAP, etc. protection? If you are, then that's the reason why you can't connect.
I have 2 questions. At the beginning, it says to put the 1.50 EBOOT and the 3.02 EBOOT in there. 1) Is the 3.02 supposed to be jap? 2)Do I name them 1.50.PBP and 3.02.PBP? Basically... Should they look like this?
3.02.PBP
PBP File
21,401 KB
or...
3.02
PBP File
21,401 KB
1) Yes the region does NOT matter. JP is the same as US or EUR or whatever (i used JP because the link points there)
2) Both wrong, you call them 150 and 302 or 150.pbp and 302.pbp, depending on whether you have the 'Hide extensions' checkbox in your Folder Options (Explorer -> Tools -> Folder options) ticked or not. If it is ticked, you should get 302.pbp and 150.pbp.
had a bit of a scare now. Irshell+usbhost+"that that must not be named" gave me a wonderfull 2 hour strugle of flashing and reflashing my psp, only to find out i could no write to flash. Not even the BSoD could actually... no background could be saved, no name change, the recovery mode for 1.5 would not work either...
reflashed 3.02 OE-A -> OE-B got BSoD and i think it is now working. Fun fun fun . BTW thanks for the guide xD
Happy holidays!
You couldn't flash anything so you flashes OE-A?
How does that work?
it whas the only flashing I could do. The recovery did not flash, the psp would not save settings or wallpapers. Games didnt run. Weird...
'm trying to update to 3.02OE and my Mem stick 32 MB isn't big enough.... I've got USBhost with IRSHELL working. Please help me out here.
Yeah, WEP. Does this not support WEP? I thought it was only WPA?Zitat:

FFIX working at fullspeed
Anyone know how to get multi-disk games working :(
No ISO talk please!
The 3.02 OE-B release thread got locked because of it
Are you referring to my post? I was just curious about FF7. I think EVERYONE owns that game :P
So, X-Flash seems to work fine, 1 question though, is the background size still 300x170? And still a bitmap image? I just ask because I heard that the backgrounds were changed on 3.02. Now instead of being 01, 02, 03... They are 01-12.
just a simple query.... would xflash be ok to change my bootsound? OE-B here
I might update to 3.02OE. Got a couple of questions first.
You cant change the menu names with 3.02OE right?
Can you still change the font, gameboot, and coldboot?
Before updating do you need to format your memory stick? If not I could just keep all the homebrew I got on my psp now and update and they will all still work just fine?
you can't change XMB icon names
you can still change font, gameboot, coldboot, etc. It might affect PS1 emulation though.
You don't need to format your memory stick. Just make sure you have enough room for everything.
Cool last question. How do the ps1 games feel when playing them without all the buttons that was on a ps1 controller?
Also can anyone confirm that customizing your font, gameboot etc causes problems with the PS1 emulation?
I was just wondering, has anyone tried to recover from 3.02oe to 1.5 and back to 3.02oe? If so, was is successfull or not?
It'll work, always. Don't worry :)
I did just now.Zitat:

It was painless.
is it still possible to run homebrew apps on 3.02-b as if it was a 1.50?
