Just reformat your whole memory card and only install the necessary files for the TA-082 downgrade.

Okay, just wanted to double check. But which of these can I delete?
3.02 OE-B Update
3.02 OE-A Firmware Installer
3.02 OE-A Update Maker
TA082 IdStorage Change
PSP Update ver X.YZ
Thanks for the help.
The hash for the 3.02OE-A flash DATA.DXAR file is :-Zitat:
Zitat von psxiso
When you do the 1st part of DA's install - you generate your own DATA.DXAR file. Check the md5 value of this file against the hash value above. If they match go onto the 2nd part of the DA install - flashing your PSP with this file.Code:5BD5DE55204BB8A407C0187C3DA1040C
All of them if you made it to 3.02 OE-B successfully.Zitat:

It depends if you installed dh config files to F1: - if so you should uninstall them using the dh menu. You can then delete the dh files from the MS. It's probably 'safer' to just format the MS from the XMB system menu.Zitat:
Zitat von Jebus Christ
If you read DA's readme.txt he says not to install dh files to F1: on his latest 3.02OE-A & -B firmwares.
Ummmm I don't have a TA-082.Zitat:

Sorry about that... I've helped too many TA-082s today...Zitat:

Anyway... just follow what I said and then just install the files you need to get the upgrader going.
@Squibbler,
put the md5 hash in [code] tags because the forums adds an extra space and messes up the md5 hash.
someone forgot to put the hash in 302OE.rar from page1...
now it make sense
Hey thanks dude! I was wondering why that extra space kept appearing ! :Jump:Zitat:

did the upgrade again and............
boom nothing. Luckily I can get into recovery mode. Go back to 1.50?
Weird - I guess if you followed all the steps from DA's readme & this guide then maybe go back to DA's 2.71SE-C ? That runs the latest devhook ok so you can get up to FW3.02 emulation for PSP games.Zitat:
Zitat von Jebus Christ
Maybe wait until a 3.02OE-C full install comes out?
Have you pressed the screen button.Zitat:

For some odd reason some people have to press/hold it to get it to work....
you sure its completely black?
You can't hear anything?
trust me I awaited that beautiful, beautiful sound and nothing.
Its probably a bad area/sector on your NAND maybe.........
Did you remake the OE-A data.dxar package each time?
Sorry for the n00b question, but.... how do I boot up a PS1 game? I converted my FFIX .img with PSX2PSP, and I don't know where to put it and make it run.... please help.... Also, I made a folder named FFIX in GAME302 and put EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN in there. I booted it up, but it gives me an error...
Aren't you supposed to put the eboot in a folder called ULUSxxxxx or something?Zitat:
Zitat von xploren

But all i can say is you are a PAL.
NTSC is what the converter was made for.
Hello every1 :)
I followed the instructions D_A has given, in order to make the DSAR file and then flash, to the letter. My psp never booted into vsh, I thought that recovery mode would solve my problem. I booted into recovery (pressing R) made the DSAR file again, but when I use the 302flasher in order to flash the 1.5 boot file, I get a "cannot load lflash_lfmt" or something like that... So my psp is bricked so far.. any ideas?
Thanks in advance ;)
ive installed 3.02 OE-B and i hjave just tried the region thing with a european sample disc when i have a us psp and it still said wrong region - why is this happening and can i fix it
In the release notes I see that OE has homebrew capability in the 3.02 kernel but I can't find any information anywhere for homebrews that might work natively under 3.02 instead of just 1.5. (Like some of the 2.71 native homebrew that was out for the SE builds.)
I'm mostly just curious ... the only homebrew apps that I really need to be 3.02 instead of just plain-old 1.0/1.5 are the wifi apps. (WPA wifi not in 1.5)
Is there anyway to run my backups without having a UMD disc in?
Every time I try, it freezes on me.
If you can access recovery mode, follow these steps:Zitat:
Zitat von Poursang
Download the HEND downgrader for 2.71 from here: http://dax.st/updateflasher.rar
Extract PSP folder to root of mem stick. (ignore SRC folder: that's the source code)
Go to PSP folder then GAME folder. Rename UPDATE folder to "RECOVERY" (must be in capital letters but without quotes).
Download the 1.50 EBOOT from http://dl.qj.net/ or http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php. When downloaded, extract the EBOOT using your favourite compression software (if in a compressed folder) and rename it to UPDATE (or UPDATE.PBP if you have the "Hide file extensions" in Folder Options unchecked).
Go to recovery mode and go to "Run program from \PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\EBOOT. PBP" then agree to the terms.
Hopefully, after the "downgrade" process has finished, you should get the famous "Corrupted settings" BSoD: DO NOT PANIC!!!. Just press O and your PSP will reboot and ask you to add in your personal details.
After that, you shouldn't have the web browser next to game but also when you go into Settings>System Settings>System Information, it should say Version 1.50.
After this, try to reflash 3.02 OE-B
A few minor points before downgrading: provided you have at least 90%, you won't need to plug your PSP into the mains unless you have a sudden battery off or someone takes out your battery, i.e. MAKE SURE THE A/C ADAPTOR IS PLUGGED IN. Don't touch any button until the process has finished. Last point is DON'T WORRY: my downgrade via libTiff exploit was successful.
help.... my psp won't flash to 302OE or SE-C I am running version 1.5 and when i try to flash it it keeps saying that the dxar is not existing or corrupted. I tried it many times and still won't work..... ahhh.. does anyone know why??
also can i flash from verison 1.00??
Why don't you use the Auto installers from http://www.psp-haxors.com/? Maybe the fact that you also haven't updated to 1.50 is the other problem.
I downgraded my ta-o82 to 1.50 ....formatted memory stick....started to install 3.02 OEA when i try to run the update maker it says cannot open file....any help would be appreciated
Have you named the 1.50 update file to 150 (or 150.PBP if you have file extensions turned on) and the 3.02 update file to 302 (or 302.PBP)?
thanks for the quick replyZitat:
Zitat von cyslim5
Yes I have tried the auto installer and everything. I am in version 1.5 but i'm thinking of downgrading to 1.00 to flash from there if that is possible. My extensions are 150.pbp and 302.pbp with it turned on. But still no luck I don't know whats wrong.
Or do a up-downgrade, i.e. upgrade to 2.71 then use generic downgrader back to 1.50 assuming that you don't have a TA-082. Then try installing.
I'd say it's best to create the DXAR file manually cos it's worked for me perfectly.
every single timeZitat:
Zitat von |-Anubis-|
Try doing the up-downgrade method then try remaking the installation.
I don't know if this is the right place to post this question or not, but first let me say thanks for the great guide in this forum. I went from 1.5 to OE-B without any trouble.
Everything on my PSP seems to be working just fine, except I can't seem to get any of my 1.5 homebrew to load. Before flashing, I moved all of my directories in the GAME folder to my computer, and then after flashing I moved them all back to the PSP, but put them in the GAME150 directory this time.
However, when I try to load them from the XMB, the PSP just reboots.
Is there a setting I need to chage, or perhaps a new way I need to name or install the 1.5 homebrew apps.
Again, sorry in advance for the newbie question.
Did you rename the GAME folder to GAME150 or did you create the folder GAME150 and drag everything from the GAME folder to it? Seems more like the former as you need the GAME folder even if you are not going to use it.
Or try resetting system settings :D : this method works most of the time.
For some reason, everytime i try to load up my backed up games (ISO format) it says the game can not load, i have the boot.bin disabled in the recovery menu, i use 3.02 OE-B any help would be greatly appreciated. The number it displays in parenthesis is 80020321. Nevermind, im an idiot, had to have a UMD in the drive.
