Have you put the games in the ISO folder in the root of the mem stick?Zitat:

On my PSP I have these folders: ISO in the root, and in the PSP directory I have GAME, GAME150 and GAME302.Zitat:
Zitat von cyslim5
I put all of the folders from my old GAME directory (from before I did the upgrade) into the GAME150 directory.
That's the right idea, right?
Go into recovery mode & config - use no-umd (currenly enabled)Zitat:
Zitat von cyslim5
Or leave it but put in a UMD every time you run the game: more useful as some games do not work in No-UMD Mode (GTA VCS doesn't work unfortunately)
Recovery mode - config - game folder homebrew 1.50 kernel - copy all game folders to ms:\psp\game - this is for the psx-to-psp games. all iso's in ms:\isoZitat:

Aaah I din't know that - cheers ! :tup:Zitat:

Ya. Try resetting system settings.Zitat:
Zitat von Pelvidar
Ah, so instead of putting the 1.5 games in the Game150 folder, I should just put everything in the GAME folder and then use the recovery console to tell the PSP which kernal to run (either 1.5 or 3.02).Zitat:
Zitat von Squibbler
Okay... Ive tried that and I get the same result. It reboots.
Now, for fun I went through all my homebrew, and my pdf reader runs just fine, even with it in the GAME150 folder. But nothing else (like my PMP player) runs in GAME, or GAME150, regardless of which kernal I'm running (1.5 or 3.02).
PS. I tried resetting the system settings too.
Unfortunately it's not working either... It reads from the ms for one sec, then stops then repeats etc but there is nothing on the screen... What gives?Zitat:
Zitat von cyslim5
Leave it: the flashing means it's downgrading.
Try http://www.psp-haxors.com/ and download the easy installer if my method doesn't work. Then run the exe file and choose to install the RECOVERY folder then put the 1.50 EBOOT renamed to UPDATE.PBP into the folder and put the RECOVERY folder into ms0:\PSP\GAME where ms0 is your PSP mem stick.
Best is to put all 1.50 Homebrew into GAME150 folder and leave the GAME folder for 3.02 "homebrew" and HEN-X (where X is from A-D) homebrew.Zitat:
Zitat von Pelvidar
Then "downgrade" to 1.50 and then reinstall 3.02 OE.
BTW it's kernel.
I have upgraded to 2.71 and downgraded to 1.5 many times but still no luck. I also cannot make a DXAR file with the dxarmaker it ALWAYS says that the second eboot is invalid <3> (both 2.71 for se and 3.02 for OE). Therefore I have to use the auto installtion to for the dxar file, but still it says that the dxar is not existing or corrupted....
That is why I was wondering if I could flash from 1.00 or not.
if anyone knows the problem let me know
thanks
The flashing continues but it does not proceed any further, it's all it does. Tried the easy installer etc, but to no avail. It still gives me the same flashing ms light...Zitat:

Hmmm - have you tried reformatting your MS ? You're running 3.02OE-B ? I just set the kernel to 1.50 & all the PSX stuff into MS:\PSP\GAME - also check your plugins are compatible with this FW - link is in these forums. Maybe try going into system & reset settings to default ?Zitat:

Have you got those 2 EBOOTs from the links in these forums? I only trust QJ.NET.Zitat:
Zitat von zeroflares
I have tried many different links and all had the same result even the ones from QJ.net and links provided. Still no luck.. im starting to think that my psp cannot be flashed to SE or OE....Zitat:
Zitat von Squibbler
You're definately not 1 of those 'TA-082' motherboards ?Zitat:
Zitat von zeroflares
If you have tried both the SE & OE FWs then maybe your MS is 'bad' ?
Your MS might be a 'fake' - I use a 2GB Sandisk memory pro duo with 0 problems so far.
It could also possibly be your internal flash memory on the PSP has error(s) ?
Try formatting your mem stick, zeroflares. Then try the installation process again.
Poursang, just wait; the downgrade process works eventually and make sure you have your adaptor plugged in.
I think it is the FAt16 file system - not very reliable and gets badly fragmented with use - good idea like cyslim5 says to format it before doing the flashZitat:

Hi all :)
I've not picked up my PSP for a while, but having heard of this firmware it's now on charge!
Could someone please tell me if there are any reasons not to upgrade to this, from v1.5? And whether I can downgrade back to v1.5 at a later date?
Thanks :)
So jonny, welcome to the Homebrew Community (hopefully :D).
What firmware do you have?
Hi :) I'm currently on V1.5 - a custom version I think, but it's been a while since I changed the firmware on it!
Gdgd. Just download the auto installer package from http://www.psp-haxors.com/ to get to 3.02 OE.
Only disadvantage is useless if you are not using homebrew.
is it safe to format your memory stick after sucessfully upgrading to 3.02 oe-a/b?
My recovery screen is purple. Is this normal?
Yes.
Why did you ask? Did you find it offensive? :)
no not offensive, I was just asking cuz it said if it is red or orange it is normal. They said nothing about purple. :Jump:
If you have a 1.5 TA-082 PSP, can you upgrade it with the files in the first post in this topic?
Same here....Zitat:
Zitat von spiffyg.jr.
and that thing about BSOD, well i never had it, nor did i have any of the problems lie hide icons not working or any of that stuff
ahhh I have formated both my memory sticks and it still aint working.... i used the memory stick that came with the psp while the other is a sandisk memory stick..Zitat:

Adiuvo could you add in the faqs how to recover your psp if it bricked please.
ok guys I copied the 1.50 and 3.02 FW to oeupdmaker folder then rename them to 150.bpb and 302.bpb,then I tried to launch the program but I got error 80010002
yes you can.Zitat:
Zitat von hellohole
How about writing down each step in detail from the beginning - maybe you are possibly missing just 1 step ? Print out Dark Alex's readme.txt files as they are the business :)Zitat:
Zitat von zeroflares
Okay, the one thing I haden't tried, I just tried. I put the homebrew onto my memory stick fresh (ie. I found my original download, extraced it to the PSP and it worked). For some reason, my old files from my previously running 1.5 PSP (which I would think are identical to the freshly extracted versions) won't run in OE-A. Perhaps something in the EBOOT is modified when it is run on your PSP?Zitat:
Zitat von Pelvidar
Anyway. I haven't tried it on all my homebrew yet, but at least some of it is working now because of this.
Nice one :)
For homebrew support check out the other sticky thread in this forum - tells you what is compatible and any special settings to use with the OE firmware.
Will do, thanks for the tip!Zitat:

May want to add these two problems/solutions to the guide... just in case noobies like me to this firmware ask...
http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-firmware-...ems-86550.html
When I try to flash the firmware 3.02OE and press "x" to start flashing, I get error messages for example: PANIC: error creating directory flash0:/data/cert
/dic
/font
/kd
etc..
And it stays/stuck on: writing 1.50 subset... 0%
I tried creating a DATA.DXAR file twice and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
when i try create the DXAR it gets stuck on extracting and packing 3.02 firmware... has been on here for like 5 mins, anyone suggest using someone else's DXAR or may it be risky?
I found that it took yoyomacy like 1 hour 40 mins guess ill sleep and let it do :)
That flash0: is your PSP's internal memory where the firmware executes - did you do all the common stuff before flashing like formatting the MS, resetting system to default values, going into recovery menu and disabling all plugins & put all options back to defaults?Zitat:
Zitat von Chrisser
Hmmm ... I haven't been able to run any HEN compatible homebrews under GAME302 or GAME (with 3.02 kernel selected).Zitat:
Zitat von cyslim5
What example ones did you get to work?
Ok well first off let me say DA and the crew are awesome.
I had 2.71 SE'' on my psp and decided I should upgrade to the big 302 OE-A
I am not new to getting to setting everything up. So I follow the instructions and get my data.dxar file. I then put it into my flasher folder and began to flash the psp. All goes well it tells me to manually restart, so I do. When it comes back on, low and behold I cant see the vsh. I start to panic and wait for my psp to shut off and once it does I turned it back on this time going into the recovery menu. I hadn't read any of this in the readme by this point. Thank god for the recovery folder. I restart my psp and bring it back to the 1.50 firmware. Now my homebrew doesn't work, so I tried the method somebody mentioned before doesn't fix it all for me. But mean while I have tried upgrading to 302 OE-A at least 5 times and I am always forced to go back to the recovery menu and convert back to 1.50.
I can get 302 OE somewhat running by not putting an update into the recovery folder. But I still cant run homebrew.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I have tried the auto installer multiple times, same result. Do you guys think I should try the one for the TA-082 motherboards?
