I do suggest you just use the recovery thing to reflash your 3.03 OE C. That would be easy instead of looking for files and replace them etc. etc.
Zitat von Henkibojj
Then, since OE-C allows you to directly flash things by enabling the flash0 USB drive mapping, just make a local copy of the file you are editing, so in case something doesn't go the way you wanted, you aouls straight away reflash the original file...
Just my 2c for it.
HTH
Cheers, A.

@ PSPduh, Thanks man, I was just reading around and heard that if I did use my previous DATA.DXAR it would brick my PSP!!! I successfully updated :) and all is good
Just one question I have always wanted to ask. I'm not a newbie but I never really understood why there are three GAME folders (GAME, GAME150, GAME303). Can someone please tell me the reason behind this? :)
Thanks
Kwiksta

GAME = Default folder, default setting is 3.03 kernel (optional setting of 1.50 which most people use.)
Zitat von Kwiksta
GAME150 = Always runs in 1.50 kernel (preferred place to run OE updates)
GAME303 = Always runs in 3.03. Not really used at the moment as 3.03 isn't homebrew compatible.

Thanks NeilR ;)
So, if I were to set it to 1.50 kernel, the GAME150 folder is practically obsolete isn't it?
Thanks

Yes. Basically, it's there for when you need to use it.

Your welcome. :)
Zitat von Kwiksta
Ditto.
Zitat von nights
I don't know why GAME150 is the preferred place to run OE updates...(because it's always in 1.50 kernel?)
Zitat von NeilR
I just use GAME to make everything simpler for myself.

Yes its there because some apps are required to be placed in GAME150.

Im about to update to 3.03 OE-C and I'm wondering if I can delete those pairs of folders (oeupdmaker/% and 303oeflasher/%)from GAME150 from the previous 3.03 OE-A update. Will anything happen if I just leave them there?

Just to be safe get rid of all the old installation stuff.
1.50 > 1.52 > 2.00 > 1.5 > 1.5 (POC CF) > 1.5 (Harleyg) > 1.5 (Casual) > 3.03 OE-A > 3.03 OE-C
Rename the 1.50 Update Eboot to 150.PBP and copy it to the oeupmaker folder. Rename the 3.03 Update Eboot to 303.PBP and copy it to the oeupmaker folder.
Makes no sense to me :Argh: :Argh: :Argh:

What doesn't make sense? Just download update.pbp of 1.50 and update.pbp of 3.03 and rename them 150.pbp and 303.pbp respectively. Then place them in the oeupdatmaker folder in the game folder.
Zitat von fabianv
Also, I still can't flash with 3.03OE-C, I get 8002014C error everytime I try running the data.dxar maker.

01-28-2007, 06:38 PM #1066
Is it possible to use the dxar from when i updated to OE-A? I only ask this cause they both use the same update files to make the dxar.

Downgrade and Flash to 3.03 OE went great. Only problem I'm having is I can't get to the recovery menu. I do as it says but it just boots up to a black screen and nothing happens.

PSone...
Maybe I over looked this, but I know that you are able to play PSone games on DA's custom firmware, but how the hell do you do this? I'm cool with the whole ISO loading ****, but I'm pretty retarded when it comes to this. Also, I don't have a PS3, so I'm hoping that this isn't part of the solution...thanks.

We can't help with that, due to QJ's piracy policy.

It could be a bad downgrade. I mean this is the FIRST 2.81+ downgrader.

After I downgraded everything seemed to work fine though. I played a few games over a 2 hour period before I even tried the 3.03 OE upgrade.
I formatted my memory stick after the upgrade which erased everything on it. Was there something that was supposed to stay on there for everything to work properly?

I got "error (dxar) flash0:/kd/ata.prx" during the packing of 150.PBP . Can anyone guide me? I confirm that the 150.PBP and 303.PBP were in the folder of PSP/Game150/ oeupdmaker . It just auto reboot to the main page after it failed to pack it...
Pls, I need some help.
EDIT: Found the reason of that error msg. Realised my Mem Stick had no space. LOL... 3.03OE-C upgraded!Geändert von gamecraver (01-29-2007 um 01:24 AM Uhr)

try to Reset your psp, i mean holding the power button for like 10 seconds. when it is shutted down, hold the R button and while your holding it, push the power button (and hold the R button!)
Zitat von Limadawg
then it should boot.
i guess that you shutted down to sleep mode instead of a full shut down.
