mmm, probably not, but still I don't recommend you do that during the flash, who knows if a small spike could corrupt the data being written...

sorry for stupid ques. again..I mean can't I run the game simply by copying the iso in PSP/GAME folder..tht was the reason I bought 2 GB memoery stick.

Ok, i started this upgrader thing from my new 1.5 PSP and its been running on the screen with the white text since 8:25PM and its now 9:30. Its says "Extracting and packing 3.03 firmware..." and has been on this screen for sometime. Is this normal?

i have the same problem, the readme says it should take 3 mins or therebouts, and im too worried about restarting my psp incase i brick it...

any help anyone?

Nice work man. Welcome to these forums and the PSP homebrew community. Hope you learn alot and like it here. Check out most mods, VIPS or kool people's (like me) sig for link to rules etc. I recommended you read the "Piracy Policy" first. Its a big issue in the forums.

Well... I think a lot of time has passed since you did this.. so if you have resolved the issue, do post it here.

A note: It does take longer than 3 minutes. More like 5-7 minutes. So, don't fret if it is NOT 3 minutes. Within 10minutes is a good bet, I think. Anything more... well...um... u may have b#$%^&* it. Sorry.

I just did mine flawlessly (thanks to this official guide) 2 days ago. No dramas. Everything, I say, Everything worked damn well.

2.80 downgrader is out for so long....u can downgrader from 2.8 to 1.5 to 3.03EO-C. that is what i do hahah.....best decision i had ever made. rock on!

EDIT: Ok, I need some urgent help. I helped a person on a forum to downgrade his 3.03 to 1.5 with LCS, and now he should upgrade to 3.03 OE-C. Problem is, he has only a 32Mb memstick. I saw in the FAQ that IRshell was the program to use, but I've never used it and of course, neither has he.

He's stranded on 1.5 without homebrew or even UMD games, until I help him with OE-C. It would all be so smooth if he had a bigger memstick, but now he has to use IRshell to make the DATA.DXAR, if I understood correctly.

Please help me help him! He's rather nooby and even tried to rename the 1.5-zipfile to 150.PBP... I need instructions of how to upgrade with IRshell, otherwise he will upgrade to 3.03 again because he doesn't want to wait that long...

shouldn't the game folder in the firstpost be changed to game150... (for 3.03 OE-B at least...)

Hold R when the PSP boots. Go into configuration and make sure Kernel is set to 1.5. See if that helps.

I just unrared 3.10 OE-A and I noticed there is no Recovery Folder.
Can I just copy the Recover Folder from my 3.03oe Folder?

I'm still on 3.03OE-A does this mean that I need to upgrade to 3.03OE-B then 3.03OE-C to finally get to 3.10OE-A? Is there really a need to upgrade to 3.10OE-A, I've been hearing alot of problems with 3.10OE-A and will all PS games work fine?

No, you can just upgrade straight.

And go to 3.10 OE-A. PSX games work perfectly.
