Moved 3.03OE-C part to a spoiler.
Noticed an error in the installation instructions:
3. Copy the 1.5 Update renamed to 150.PBP into:
X:\PSP\GAME\oeupmaker
as well as the 3.30 update named 3.30.PBP into:
I believe this should read:

Thanks for pointing that out :)
Will someone be working on a downgrader for sony's 3.30. And if they do how do downgraders work? Do they just downgrade to the previous version you had? Or do you need to downgrade all the way back to 1.5 so that you can add any OE fw to your psp?:Punk:
If a exploit ever comes out to allow it we most likely will have a downgarder. Most downgrades just downgrade to 1.5 cause that is a central point were you can load homebrew or install custom firmware.Zitat:

Thanks.:Punk:
You can run flash games to tide you over until you can get homebrew. A guide is in my sig.
I have the ultimate demo pack. But what I was really trying to use pspvnc, does anyone know if this will be possible to use with 3.30:Punk:

Hello first post and asking for some help
I had devhook working and with 2 homebrews that played great i upgraded to the 3.30 oe-a after formating my memory card everything seemed to go ok as in settings system software says 3.30 OE-A (NICKNAME P209) AND A MAC ADDY
But there is no icon for umd and when i insert one it spins but does not start also in the game folder located L\PSP\GAME where i have the 2 homebrews installed it says no games but i know there is something in that folder as i took them off the card and put them back in using the usb cable..
can someone see if i have the correct path for homebrew
I have them in L\PSP\GAME (I know in the tutorial it says X not L but i take it this is just the drive letter of your PSP)
CAN ANYONE GIVE ANY ADVICE
Hi,
I have the 3.10 oe-a dark alex version.
Do you think that I should update to the 3.30 OE-A?
Thanks in advanced,

Hey,
Good guide but you really need to change:
3. Copy the 1.5 Update renamed to 150.PBP into:
X:\PSP\GAME\oeupmaker
as well as the 3.30 update named 3.30.PBP into:
X:\PSP\GAME\oeupmaker

I just upgraded from 3.10 OE-A2 to 3.30 OE-A.Zitat:

Main difference I see,
Pros:
- custom icons !!!!!!
- Can't update official firmware (locked)
Cons:
- some PAL PSX games don't work so well (I don't play those anyway).
Other than that not much difference, but I am very happy with the icons :Jump:
A Few small errors fixed on the guide.
anyone have any idea how to procede from here as my son is doing my head in untill i get it fixed..Zitat:

So you don't have an unpatched version of GTA:LCS? Try asking one of your mates if s/he has it.Zitat:
Zitat von Scooter123
N.B. The unpatched version of GTA:LCS has Firmware Update 2.00 on the disk, not 2.60 as in the patched version.
BTW BlackBox, the guide for installing 3.03 OE-C or 3.30 OE-A is on the first page of this thread (click on the arrow with "First").
well done, this is a great help to noobs like me. LOL
now all i need is a 3.10 downgrader.
Thanks a lot!!! Worked like a charm!
I need a charm now! :P
Well done! And truely thanks for the guide!
So let me get this straight. A: I can't overclock in the main menu, and B: I have to downgrade to 1.5 since I have 3.10 OE-A'?
Few questions...
I have 1.50 (downgraded fro 2.71 TA-082), and when I put the files into the oeupdmaker as 150.PBP and 330.PBP, I get corrupted data in my game menu. What am I doing wrong?
And if I update this, I'll still be able to add roms, screen capture settings, and all of the goodies that I could possibly want, right? Or would I have to do this before I updated to 3.30 OE-A?
how i gona get gta here im in Iraq..working here..there is no way to order game becouse nobody shipped to here...well if someone know how i gona downgrade this my psp 3.03 ....pleaseeeeee helllpppp
Hi,
I have a PSP that came originally with the 2.71 firmware.
It has a TA-082 board.
I have successfully downgraded to 1.50 (using the TA082 idStorage Change method).
Then I upgraded to 3.10 OE-A, and then to 3.10 OE-A2.
My question is: Can I upgrade to the new custom firmware 3.30 OE-A without problems?
I'm asking because I heard that patched TA-082 PSP's cannot install the 3.30 OE-A custom firmware.
Thanks in advance.
Yes you can.
I have a TA-082 running 3.30 OE-A with custom icons.
Make sure you renamed them before copying them over to the the oemaker folder. You may of overwrote the EBOOT.PBP already in the folder.Zitat:
Zitat von UT-Complex
A un-patched GTA LCS isa the only way you can downgrade to 1.5 with a PSP with firmware 2.81 - 3.03, no way round it.Zitat:
Zitat von Scooter123
All I could recommend is if you know someone outside that area and try and have them ship it to you.
I renamed the EBOOT.PBP in both the 1.50 Upgrade and 3.30 upgrade .rar's to 150.PBP, and 330.PBP and put them in there with the EBOOT that came with Dark_Alex's firmware download. I wasn't prompted to overwrite any files. I checked and everything that should be in there is in there. Am I supposed to do something else? I noticed the readme that came with the .rar said put the 150.PBP and 330.PBP and then Execute the program, and THEN copy the 330oeflasher and 330oeflasher% to the game folder, but the instructions on the first page says put everything in there at once and then run the PSP. Is there a huge difference between doing the two?
The files that are in my PSP right now are
3.30 OE-A Update Maker
3.30 OE-A Firmware Install
Corrupted Data
Corrupted Data
It does not matter what way you go. Once the OE Maker finishes you will need the move the DATA.DXAR to the OE flasher folder.
So it sounds like your good to go. And the two Corrupted Data icons are suppose to be there.
Awesome! It worked. Great help, thank you.
You can overclock in the main menu with the cool SCEP Plugin. And as to B, you can still upgrade to 3.30 OE-A without having to downgrade from 3.10 OE-A, it says so at the top of the guide!Zitat:
Zitat von PeeWee
And to you people who work this thread, you're my heroes! So many people ask dumb questions that are answered in the FAQ, or irrelevant to this thread, and yet you answer so patiently. My congrats!
Just to add to the above you don't have to downgrade from 3.10 OE-A to go to another OE, just install the OE you want like normal.
