My guess is that your PSP's flash1 should be deleted and then you should reinstall 3.40 OE-A before testing to see if everything works.

and one more thing, if I don't like the custom firmware (3.40OE-A), can I go back to my 1.50?
btw, I got the PSP TI92 thing working, but I can't seem to get the UMDloader to work. help!!
There's no need to use UMDloader - just set your kernel mode to 3.40 (Under the Settings in Recovery mode) and start your game.Zitat:

EDIT: And yes, you can always go back to 1.50 through recovery. There's detail in the first post.
thanx
I put the Firmware in kernel mode 3.40, but It didn't work. when the game starts, I get the PSP Icon and all, and the backpic of the game works perfectly, but after the PSP icon fades away, It's a black screen, as if the game wasn't loaded. memory card activity light doesn't even flash when it's started. *goes crazy* AAAAAHHH (it think it would be a good time to tell you that I'm trying to start an iso. maybe you misunderstood for any reason.) if I can't get this thing to work properly tonight, I'll go back to 1.50. How do I recover to that?
You cant do this on a 32mb :(
before i get anything about if you hack you should have a bigger mem stick, i plan on buying one i just dont have one now,
GUess i gotta wait :(
Do you have a TA-082?
ok, I had the same problem being unable to run anything at all. You have to do the following:Zitat:

hold teh off switch for 5 sec or so. the turn on the psp pressing and holding the R button, this will get you to the recovery mode. Connect your usb cable to your psp, after that go to advanced, then toggle flash1.
Delete config.se (only that file)
restart and try the psp again, remember to put a umd inside the psp, when you want to run iso's any umd should work.
You can if you use IRShell to do it over USBHost.Zitat:

i finally got 3.40 OE FW updated. Is there a way I can run the 1.50 SNES emulators with DH still?
Copy 'em into ms0:/PSP/GAME150/ and make sure you're in 1.50 kernel mode (Open Recovery (Coldboot and hold R) choose "Configuration" then "Game Folder For Homebrew" should say Currently: 1.50 kernel - if not secroll down to it and press X) then go back, hit exit and open your games from the memory stick!Zitat:

After installing 3.40oe-a, what files can I delete? Is it ok to delete the oeupdmaker and 340oeflasher folders? Also what about the UPDATE folder in the GAME folder? Or can I simply format the card and start with a clean memory stick to go along with my 3.40oe-a FW?
You can delete everything your memory stick.
just apdated from 2.81 to 3.03 to 1.50 to 3.40oe -a

Ok so im trying to uninstall 3.40 because it didnt work for me (game could not be started)
I have looked on how to uninstall and where is the recovery folder/file in the 3.40 oe.rar?
Nope, you'll have to download SE to get it. And read this.
Cheers dude
Hey guys,
I just installed 3.40 OE-A.
But when I go to the Recovery Menu and try to go to 'configuration' the PSP just freezes, and then shuts off for some reason. How do I fix this?
Delete everything off flash1
Explained countless times in this thread.
And explained in the guide
You should really read the WHOLE thing. :)
Especially the FAQ :)
That's why it's huge font right after the main part of the guide.
Actually, I don't see that problem listed in the FAQ.
Am I blind?
Hm.. I must be starting to get blind... I can't find it...!
How do I delete everything in flash1?
Enter Recovery Mode --> Advanced --> Enable Flash1
It should pop up on the computer.
Delete EVERYTHING from the disk
And voila it works.
You will get a BSOD but its okay.
Wait, let me get this straight...
If I do that, does that mean that the PSP will not have any 'OS'?
Is it really safe...?
Sorry, I'm not much of a tech person... And worst of all... It's not my PSP. >_<
I'm a bit clueless right now, because I messed up someone else's PSP.
It's perfectly safe. Flash1 only has user info in it.
And what are you talking Anubis, it's there ;)
ah-ha found it!
You should move it into the FAQ fieldset.
Easier to spot that way.
Fixed now :)
