If you didn't save the data.dxar you made, then yes you will have to follow the whole guide over.
Otherwise, you can simply use the data.dxar along with the OE flasher to reflash the OE firmware.
And if you can only access recovery mode, simple stick the eboot.pbp and data.dxar from the OE flasher folder into PSP/GAME/RECOVERY and run the Recovery option from the Recovery Menu.
I got a perfectly working psp, but wouldn't the 2nd method which u use the recovery mode be faster? Or is it only for semi-brick?

You can choose either method. Usually a person uses the latter because they have no choice.
No you do not need to remove your custom theme. Everything on flash0 will be deleted so you're going to have to re-install the theme anyway.

Yes you can.
Just make sure you put the files in GAME150 instead of GAME (its mentioned in the guide)

You need to download and install WinRAR from the following site (direct download):

I have a 1.50FW, never have upgraded to anything, always used devhook....if I was to do this 3.40oe, will all my emulators still run and all the custom pics/sounds with each one still be there?...

2. You can't ask about ISOs (Piracy Policy) but 99% of real games work perfectly off the UMD in OE at default settings (Ratchet & Clank requires you change your CPU speed).
But Devhook can still be used, too.

Last Question, can I now delete the devhook program off the PSP now?....without it effecting the..."other" folder....
Devhook is not required, but could be useful in the future. You can safely delete it.
Also, about the 3.40 to 3.10 thing, you can go directly, but you really shouldn't ^^

No, just use the OEUPMAKER and flasher as normal from your 3.40 OE-A PSP and it'll do it.Zitat:

Then just go straight to it. There is less safety involved - it doesn't check the hash first, but if you do it right you'll be fine to go straight from 3.40 OE to 3.10 OE.
I am always getting the error message cannot open file on the update maker, it does 150.pbp fine then when it trys to do 340.pbp it say cannot open file and gos back to the normal psp menu, help lol thanks
Are you sure your 340.pbp is actually called that? If the 150.pbp file has no .pbp on the end, and the 340.pbp does, get rid of the .pbp on the end of the 340.pbp file. You probably have file extensions off, in which case it'll be playing up.
Otherwise you might have to redownload the file - it might be corrupted.
ahh i got it working somehow i had the 3.03 files.
I can use this on my fw 1.50?Btw can this one can play all the game that is come out?
This will replace your 1.50 Firmware (It still runs homebrew though)
As for playing all games, it can run games with a firmware requirement up to 3.40 - unless there's some way to spoof it we haven't figured out yet.

I've been using OE firmware since 2.71 and now i'm having a problem that I can't fix:
I cannot access te configuration menu in recovery mode, when i push X the screen changes to one without the option and shuts down the psp.
I've tried to downgrade it to 1.50 and them upgrade again but in 3.10OE 3.30OE and 3.40OE always happens the same thing.
One more thing after upgrading to 3.x in the network menu appear to more icons one for Playstation Spot and another for Portable tv, I don't know what this is and I havent install anyting else, and I've also format my memory stick.
Please give some help on this.

You have to enable flash1 and delete the config.se file to fix the cocnfig menu in recovery then change your region to US and not japan which is why you got the extra icons

Go to advanced -> Toggle Flash1 from there you should se some file (dont wroory there a 100% chance your not going to brick when messing with flash1). Then delete the confi.se file and return to the Recovery Menu. Go to Configuration or something like that and where it says Fake region and diasble it

I'm Having A Problem With Final Fantasy Viii , I Can Make An Eboot With No Problems, I Put It Into The Proper Place ( Psp/game) But, When I Go To Start The Game Thats Where I Hit A Snag, It Loads Up The P.o.p.s. Screen (i Use Icetea To Create The Eboot) Then It Shows The Sony Ps Logo No Problem, But Once It Gets Past That And On To The Part Where The Game Start Cg Footage Should Be, I Get Nothing But A Blank Screen....anyone Else Had An Issue Like This ?
