I'm having a really strange problem with a memory card and hope that i can get some input. I'm on 3.40 OE-A and I have 3 memory cards (2 4GB + 1 2GB). I recently ungraded from 3.10 OE-A to 3.40 OE-A. Two of my memory cards work fine but the 3rd one (the latest 4GB that I just got) won't run any iso's. It will run psx eboots fine but when i try to run an iso i get the following error "The game could not be started. (80020321)". I am almost certain that I ran iso's with that memory card before i upgraded fom 3.10 to 3.40 but not 100% certain. The only other thing that shouldn't matter is the 2 cards that work fine are SanDisks, the third is a Lexar. Any help would be appreciated!
Sorry but we can't troubleshoot ISO loading. Please review are Piracy Policy.

But to give a little insight Lexar MS can't run plugin cause there to slow this "May" apply to those files to.

I got my first half brick the other day using Easy Theme Flasher after few days of everything going fine. Then I downgraded to 1.5 and upgraded to 3.40 OE-A and now every time I go into recovery mode whether to make changes or not I get a BSOD upon exit. Can anyone tell me the default settings under 3.40 OE-A? And, why I might be running into this issue? Thank You

Try going to advanced in Recovery mode then enable flash1 access. Delete all the files and folder, this should correct the issue. You will get 1 BSOD on next restart but that should be the only one you get from now on.

Thanks, it worked all right. Now I'm having another issue which I have never had and I've been with the OE versions since the beginning. I have 2 folders for homebrew in the PSP folder - GAME and GAME340. Most of my homebrew KXploited or otherwise goes in the GAME folder and only 2 of them go in the GAME340 folder i.e. PSPRadio and AFKIM (as they don't connect to the internet in GAME folder). I had my homebrew kernel folder set to 3.40 and all my apps worked great. Now I can't get the homebrew in GAME folder to work at all if the kernel mode is 3.40 and when I switch it to 1.50 its fine but then I have trouble running GAME340 apps. I tried changing the name of the GAME folder to GAME150 (even though I never needed to) and strangely enough none of my homebrew shows up under memory stick. All this happened last night when one of the themes I had flashed using Easy Theme Flasher which had been running smoothly for a few days decided it would start freezing before going to the XMB and before I knew it I had downgraded to 1.5 and upgraded back to 3.40 OE-A. Now I feel like I'm lost and the only thing I can think of now is doing the same thing again and reinstalling my homebrew all over. Before I do that can I get some advise from you guys who know more than I do about this. Cheers

Change the kernel back to 3.40. That is what kernel the GAME150 folder is supposed to be used with.

I have tried all combos, kernel 3.40 and 1.50 with GAME and GAME150 and yet none of my homebrew shows under memory stick on the XMB. I am baffled as hell as I've upgraded/downgraded so many times and have not seen this weird behavior.

Try reflashing I suppose. I haven't seen that problem before.

Does the PSP say there is nothing available when you hit the memory stick icon?

Yea, I'm probably going to reflash it. Yes, there is nothing under the memory stick icon when I change the folder name from X:/PSP/GAME to X:/PSP/GAME150.

    Zitat Zitat von Brad.
Your folder structure is X:/PSP/GAME or X:/PSP/GAME150 correct?
Its always been X:/PSP/GAME never had to use GAME150 and now I try with either kernel with GAME150 and it doesn't show up under the memory stick. Everything has been golden with GAME and GAME310/330/340 folders with the kernel being the version of the OE of the moment.

    Any luck?
Nope. I just downgraded and upgraded real quick and none of my homebrew works (error 8002014C) under 3.40 kernel still. I am thinking downgrading and upgrading to 3.10 OE or 3.30OE and then going to 3.40 OE-A. I still don't understand why I cannot see my files under memory stick icon when its GAME150 folder. Also, I have a Japanese PSP-1000K and I have fake reqion set to America and fake UMD is disabled if those things matter. I have been using the same American firmware as everyone else.

UPDATE: I have never had to do this ever but apparently changing the GAME folder name to GAME150 on my PSP does not show anything in it under memory stick icon, however when I made a seperate GAME150 folder and moved all the contents of the GAME folder to it everything is normal. So now I have PSP/GAME (empty), PSP/GAME150 (most homebrew) and PSP/GAME340 (a couple of items). If I eliminate the GAME folder even though its empty nothing shows up again in the memory stick. I am glad its back now but had me aggravated there for a minute.

Thanks yous guys for the help. Cheers

In the 340oeflasher folder you should have a EBOOT.PBP and DATA.DXAR. The process has checks so even if you were missing a file it would not flash.

Okay, in that case, the flashing process is not working for me.

It says "Not existing or invalid dxar for this update"

Should I just redownload and rerun or what?

Is the DATA.DXAR a 0kb file? If so you need to re-create the DATA.DXAR.

That is correct then. Make sure you moved the DATA.DXAR from the oeupdmaker folder to the 340oeflasher folder.

    X:/PSP/GAME/oeupdmaker to X:/PSP/GAME/340oeflasher

It's flashing as I type. What's the section after the flashing? is it just for homebrew?

The whole time i've been doing this, Breaking the Law by Judas Priest has been going through my head

Just install 3.03 OE-C like normal. The install does a full flash so you will not need to worry.

Ah, ok. Just another quick question, it seems that my analog stick started acting up when I installed 3.40OE, is this an isolated event, or do issues like this happen? Because when I was on 2.00 before it didn't seem to have this issue.

    Thanks!

Haven't heard of a hardware type problem from updating to 3.40 OE-A, try going to 3.03 OE-C like you said and see if it fixes the issue.

Connection error or the browser wont start?

Try restoring default settings and recreate the connection.

Restart your router and cable/dsl modem. Do modem first then router.
