No i mean actually downgrade to 1.50 then go back up. You'll ind how to do this in the first posts's FAQ section under "How do I uninstall DAX custom firmwares?" - then just upgrade again. If that fails, then i'd say your PSP is broken anyway.

You need to download the 3.02 zip file so you can get the recovery flasher program. Ill explain a bit better:

1. Download the file (From the link given there)
2. Open the "flasher for recovery" folder
3. Copy/extract the "RECOVERY" folder into PSP\GAME\
4. Follow steps 4 onwards from the other guide

Another Question sirs... I was able to downgrade to 1.5 FW at last, many thanks to you guys... my challenge now is that I can't still change the name of my PSP (semi-brick :Cry: coz still not working well) it continues to close on its own before I was able to change the name.. same status with the UMD game.. I can;t exit using the Home button... Please advise kind sirs....

SAD TO SAY!!!! looks like one of the BRICK PSP's huhuhuhu.. although I can play games (UMD, ISO, CSO) the main problem still is that I can't exit using the home button, can't change the PSP name... cnat input wireless manually... and some problems are not yet discovered.... anyway...

One last, final ray of hope, you might be able to fix it by opening up the case, but that's a tad risky. If you do though, check for dust or anything that might cause a blockage for the buttons. Otherwise, i hope you get a new one soon!

My guess is that your PSP's flash1 should be deleted and then you should reinstall 3.40 OE-A before testing to see if everything works.

There's no need to use UMDloader - just set your kernel mode to 3.40 (Under the Settings in Recovery mode) and start your game.

EDIT: And yes, you can always go back to 1.50 through recovery. There's detail in the first post.

How do I recover to that?

ok, I had the same problem being unable to run anything at all. You have to do the following:
hold teh off switch for 5 sec or so. the turn on the psp pressing and holding the R button, this will get you to the recovery mode. Connect your usb cable to your psp, after that go to advanced, then toggle flash1.

Delete config.se (only that file)

restart and try the psp again, remember to put a umd inside the psp, when you want to run iso's any umd should work.

you would have to downgrade using a GTA: LCS Unpatched.

i got it now thanks...so the recovery mode switchs me back from 3.40 to 1.50. So i can delete the DH and the HEND photo out too now right?
