[GUIDE] Installing PSP Portals To Your PSP
How to install a flash portal
Written by Gr34t3st
THIS GUIDE WAS WRITTEN FOR JEFFYíS FLASH PORTAL BUT SHOULD WORK FOR ANY FLASH PORTAL
> Download the portal like normal.
> After download you will see the files from the portal.
> Unzip them to an empty folder on your computer. Try to name the file something that you will remember and something you wonít get confused with another file or folder.
> After unzipping, plug in your PSP to your computer via a USB to Mini-USB cable.
> Open up your PSPís files by going to Start>My Computer> F Drive (or whatever you have it in).
> Open your flash portal folder from wherever you saved it.
> Your PSP should have the files MP_ROOT , MUSIC , PICTURE , PSP , VIDEO
> Drag and drop all of your files to your PSP. DO NOT PUT THEM IN ANY FOLDERS!!!!
> After youíre done transferring them, close all of your files that you have open and unplug your PSP.
> Go to your PSPís web browser
> You do not need to connect to the internet if itís not available to you.
> In your address bar, type in file:/menu.swf. Most flash portals are in the file extension of a Shockwave Flash Object (swf). For other flash portals find the menu file and look at what type of file it is.
> For every flash portal except the files you put in your COMMON folder, type file:/ <name of file> <file extension (normally .swf)>
> The menu will come up and you should have your flash portal working properly.
Congratulations you now (hopefully) have a fully working PSP Flash Portal!
