Default [RELEASE] PSP Flash Image Gallery 0.5

Before I go on, I would like to say this.
I know that the PSP can already view images. And I know that this application may seem pointless. But think of this as more of a preview of what is to come. I wanted to get the concept out there early. This isn't even version 1.0. Think of this as, maybe, an open beta. So now, if you say complain that the PSP can already do this, I can laugh at your obvious ignorance.

This Flash application for your PSP takes images from your memory stick, and displays them in your browser with...little arrows. I's not much, but there's defintely more to come in later versions. I think that in the end, people will find this to be a handy little application to pass some time.

You may NOT use this application in any portal of any kind. Even if you ask for permission, I will deny it. Get it straight. Don't PM me.

    Installation

!!!!!NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE VERSION 2.70+ FIRMWARE AND THE FLASH PLAYER MUST BE ENABLED!!!!!

    1. After unzipping the files, you can simply place the "pic.swf" file into the "COMMON" directory. This simplifies things for you, and for me because I won't have people asking how to create folders, and what the root is, etc.

    2. The "PSP Image Gallery" allows you to view pictures directly from your memory stick. Because of this, you need to name your images a specific way. The maximum pictures that the "PSP Image Gallery" can view is 15. All of your pictures must be in the "PHOTO" directory. Nowhere else. The first picture that you want to display should be a ".jpg" file, and should be called "pic1", without the quotations. The second picture you wish the display should be a ".jpg" file and should be called "pic2", without the quotations. Do this all the way to the 15th image.

    3. If you have done everything correctly, things should be as follows:

    Memory Stick
    |
    PSP
    |
    PHOTO
    |
    pic1.jpg
    pic2.jpg
    pic3.jpg
    pic4.jpg
    pic5.jpg
    pic6.jpg
    pic7.jpg
    pic8.jpg
    pic9.jpg
    pic10.jpg
    pic11.jpg
    pic12.jpg
    pic13.jpg
    pic14.jpg
    pic15.jpg

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    USING

    1. Open up your PSP's Web Browser.

    2. In the address bar, type in "file/psp/common/pic.swf" without the quotations.

    3. In a few seconds, your first image should be displayed, along with a bar down the bottom that contains an arrow pointing forward.

    4. Hit the arrow to go to the next image.

    5. To go back one image, hit the arrow that is facing backwards.

    6. Well, that's pretty much it. You should be on the look out for the next version of "PSP Image Gallery" that is set to come out soon. What new features will it have? Well, I suppose you'll just have to wait and see.

I don't know if the PSP could handle transitions just yet, seeing as how often the cache fills up, but I can guarantee you 100% that in the next version, I will have a slideshow feature. And music, well...that's another thing that the cache presents a problem with.
