Easy Way To Tell Is Patched Or Not Gta:lcs

The question I had in the above post still stands. However, I can verify that identifying an unpatched version by the pictures on the back IS NOT RELIABLE.

Check this out. The game in my PSP came straight from that case, and I bought the game, new and sealed, from Best Buy. It's a 10041.

Edit: Oh, I forgot. It's not very clear in that picture, but the box is copyright 2005.

That's sort of wrong..I mean, it says 2005 on it, when the patch wasn't brought in until 2006. You sure you just don't have a different UMD in there than what came with it? Stuff happens.

I got my GTA LCS before the Cheat Device was even created. December 25th, just last year. Christmas, that's when I got my PSP.

I'm positive it's the UMD from that package. I only have one copy of the game, and when I bought it, it was sealed in plastic. I can show clearer pictures of the 2005 later if you'd like; I'm at work at the moment.

I'm supposing that older cases were being used at whatever factory packaged this game, and that's how this ended up in an '05 case, maybe.

check the copyright on the UMD cus my UMD says copyright 2005

Yeah, that's what I mean. That coulda' happened. But like said, check the UMD. You don't have to upload new pics, I could see the 2005 pretty good. Thanks though.

Very worth indeed, for who never bought an UMD i gave my 65 euros for it with no hesitation, unblocked my 2.01´s and worth just for that.

i wouldnt rely on this. there have been several reports of patched GTA's that look EXACTLY like the unpatched version jim420 is showing.

It has the "2005", the box DOESN'T have the "circled 18 with red background", the UMD has it (and DOESN't have the gun).
