Alright ive seen LOTS of people asking how to fix this error. 80410702 Is a problem with the mac address. It stops you from using most ad-hoc, game sharing, sending/recieving pictures and playing ad-hoc games with eachother.
The tools you are going to need:
XVI32 Hex editor
( http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delph...vi32/xvi32.htm )
PSP Mac address changer
( http://pspupdates.qj.net/PSP-MAC-Add...g/49/aid/78386 )
This is EXTREMELY brick friendly, DO NOT SCREW AROUND, and MAKE SURE you have a backup of your macid file.
I did do this myself earlier, and I was able to play my first game of wipeout through xlink
The first thing you have to do, is get your real mac address. This can be done, by going to network settings, infrastructure, then making a new connection to a wifi spot, and then testing it. Your real mac address will be on the connection test results. ( 4th from the bottom on the testresult screen ). Now write that number down. Double check it, check it again.
Now put the PSP mac address changer tool on your psp, for OE it has to be in Game150. And then run the tool.
It will ask you to press X to dump your mac address. Press X, and wait 5 seconds for the program to close. Now put yuor psp in usb mode, and the macid file will be in the root of your mem stick.
Now download XVI32, extract the contents of the file to its own little folder.
Take your dumped macid file, MAKE A BACKUP OF IT!!! and put it in the XVI32 folder.
Now open XVI32.exe and open your macid file. Now the 6 boxes at the top left of xvi32, is your mac address. Remember the number i told you to write down? Change the macid in the six boxes at the top left of xvi32, to the number you wrote down. (your real mac id).
Now goto File -> save.
Take your new macid file, out of the xvi32 folder (or wherever you saved it too), and put it in the root of your psp memory stick.
Exit USB mode, and run the PSP mac address changer tool.
When it starts up, hold O and L to flash your new mac address.
If you did it right, NO MORE 80410702 ERROR!!!
This is my first and most usefull guide ive wrote.
