I'm Job , from Holland... As a lot of people I've been checking pspupdates since I bought my psp, but never really bothered to register.
I read a lot of forums and searched for answers lots of times, and found them most of the time.
But know I've finally got a very 'good' reason to register...
first of all , my psp is a JAP 3.4 OE-A
And I hope someone can help me with this
This morning I dropped my psp, inside the logitech case.
I thought it wouldn't really matter, although I never really dropped it...
But I really didn't expect a kind of brick. Result :
-PSP refuses to boot, to both xmb or recovery, most of the time, screen remains black, green led goes on
-If it dóes boot, to xmb or recovery, I can't select anything, most of the time ... Pressing x (or o) doesn't get me into settings, game menu etc
-Sometimes it boots, to both xmb or recovery, ánd pressing x works, but when I start a game or stuff I get a red screen with ''a serious error has occured. contact the technical support line for assistance'' (the red screen of partial death)...
I just don't understand this, and I wonder If some of you do. How the f*ck can a physical shock cause a software/flash problem ??????? And .... :
What could be a solution ???
-reflash firmware via recovery (I thought this was possible ?)
-open my psp and look for visible damage (...?)
-buy a new motherboard (?)
-throw it very hard against someones head, just for the effect ?
thanks in advance
