Yes Ive decided to join the dark side known as $ony and abandon the faithful Nintendo after losing my GBA. I have some questions before I buy a PSP and im sure theyre all pretty easy to answer.
So anyway, im going to buy a PSP, i plan to buy it from a store (NOT online) because I dont want any dead pixels and such and i want to be able to return it if its defected even slightly. So first question, How much does a PSP cost (canadian dollars please) currently in a store and how much would it cost altogether for a PSP+ 1gb stick?
Okay now the more important questions. What is the latest version required to play most of the goodies such as emu's, loaders, etc? Will I be able to obtain such a version in retail stores such as Zellers, Wal-mart, Futureshop, etc? Give me a good excuse for returning it incase its not the version xD
Now speciffically the Emus and loaders:
-You think all these things might be compatible with higher firmware versions in the future?
-How are the speeds/compatibility of SNES, GBA (if there is one) emus. please be in detail, i am really into oldschool games
-How are the game back up loaders doing? important also, i want to know everything from compatibility to speed. Do you think itll be compatible with more games in the future?
-ps1 emulation. You think itll be possible for decent speed and compatibility one day .
-AVI/DIVX player. Im sort of a movie geek, you think thatll get better soon?
i know its a lot of questions and its asking a lot but i would really appreciate if someone would help me out here. Afterall, thats what the forums are for...
thanks in advance people
NOTE: I did post this in another forum but no help so far... but these forums seem a lot more frequent and active.
