Ok i was one day using my psp all fine and all of a sudden my analog stick broke off so i new i needed a new one so i orderd a new one. After the analog replacement came i took apart my psp and replaced the analog stick and it was fine exept for it was a little tight pushing it in the down direction but i didnt really care cause i was able to play again:) I woke up the next day and turned the psp on and the analog stick fell off and i looked and it was cracked so i thought it was a faulty analog stick so i then AGAIN orderd a new one wich i recieved last night and i will not make the same mistake twice and be REALLY carefull this time! I opend the psp , took the faceplate off , unscrewed the old broken analog stick off and put the NEW one on, after this i started to wiggle it around to make sure it was fine and the analog would NOT move down cause it was stuck, every other direction moved fine exept down so i figured i screwed the screws in to tight so i loosend the analog so it could move down again but it would still catch a little bit while trying to move it down so i didnt really care as long as i could play my rainbow six vegas BUT when i turned my game on my character would NOT move downwards and it was drifting left and when i tried to move right it would go super SLOW, so for about 6 hours i tried EVERY screw posisition " tight , loose , middle" and i reached the conclusion that the only way my character would work properly with the analog is if it was all tight, BUT if it is tight the analog stick will NOT push down cause it is obviously catching on something, and if i were to push the analog down hard it would just break The analog stick is in perfect condition and is brand new so i know that is not the problem. I even cleaned that little rubber piece that is under the psp , the thing that the analog rests on and nothing! Can anyone in this world help me?????
