I recently bought a PSP Slim and realized that you also need a classic PSP to update your PSP Slim to be homebrew capable.
So I borrowed my friend's PSP classic PSP (cfw) to update my PSP Slim.
But not only it was too complicated to make that pandora battery but most of all my Window Vistas gave me too much trouble with mspformat thingie.
Anyways, my PSP Slim's firmware is 3.60 right now and I heard that if you update your firmware thru PSP update function, then you get better loading with UMD games.
So my question is.. if I won't be able to 'upgrade' my PSP Slim to homebrew capable, then should I update it to 3.72 or should I wait till until someone comes up with a way to 'upgrade' PSP Slim to homebrew capable?
The reason I'm asking this is because I read from somewhere that it's better to leave your firmware as low as possible if you want to upgrade it later.
I just need experts' opinions on this because I'm a total noob :Argh:
