Hey all, think this is the right place for this question...
I recently tried to update to the latest M33 FW in preparation for locoroco2, but after the install, it warned me of corrupt settings and when i pressed O it never started up again
recently my friend has helped me make my pandora battery, and I'm trying to fix it. I used the original battery recovery menu, pressing x to downgrade to 1.5, but every time i reboot it says my settings are corrupt.
When I run it again, using the same 1.50 eboot, it formats and installs fine, but then complains of being unable to update the registry, failing at system.dreg
Any ideas why this happens? I also tried the totalnewbi easyinstaller found here http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=12&fid=14749&catid=193, but it never seems to read the memory stick upon startup if i use that program.
I instead used http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Pandora-Deluxe-...5279/catid/193 on vista, which seemed to work fine, and gave me access to the menu.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (I've been out of the psp scene for a looong time now, and may have missed something that can save me)
EDIT: i do have access to a laptop with xp on it, and a psp on 3.5x m33 if i ask really nicely, if that would help
Use UPT v5.0.2 It always worked to me
if you can get into recovery then install hellcats recovery flasher onto the ms
Heey! Install ddc7 into you memory stick duo, and then go to "nand tools" and "format", format your flash 0 and 1, that should fix everything, then lash 4.01 m33 into your psp! that worked out for me when my psp couldn't format flash1!!!
BUT, DUMP YOUR NAND!!!!!!
